Reading some of the South Carolina scouting reports, or what the reporters are saying . . . .
Most think that their defense will load the box. Still comes down to being able to back them out or some of that tight end talk that has surrounded Schottenheimer since his arrival from the NFL.
Kublanow now has two games and Spring and Fall practice under his belt. Believe the offense will benefit from having played the Vanderbilt game. New quarterback, new center, not quite sure how that happens, but it did. It is what it is.
Easy enough for me to sit in the "cave" and call plays, going to be interesting to see how this game is called. South Carolina will of course have something to say about what we do and when.
Said earlier, don't think the 17 point spread is realistic. Does happen, but I believe there is too much riding on this particular game for either side to have a let down. A blowout and one of the two head coaches are going to be questioned, for sure.
No predictions on the final score from me, never know about these two when they get together.
