Game 3 The Chickens R Coming to Athens

For years I (and others) stated that bozo should utilize some screens, swing passes and sweeps to help overcome an inexperienced or underachieving line. He rarely used any of those. I hope maybe Schottenheimer realizes those are useful to also help a nervous QB get some confidence and get into a groove. bozo rarely used TE's to their potential either, let's hope maybe that will also change.
Call some good offensive plays, this game should be a walk in the park. I know about the ballsack's penchant for beating us, but this year's SC team is really bad.

Been since earlier in the year since I've posted.

But obviously I'm concerned like everyone else about the Dawgs offense escpecially our QB.

Spurrier has had the Dawgs # for years and this is the game he ALWAYS wants to win.
My guess is he stacks the line to stop the run and forces GL to throw in order to beat the Cocks. If that's the case, then I'm REALLY concerned. :pinch:

I'll start this post by saying, yes, it's way too early to make generalizations. So far we just don't have enough data for that. However, I'm going to generalize and review some stats:

University of Georgia Football
Georgia Passing Game-by-Game (as of Sep 14, 2015)
All games

#11 Greyson Lambert Att Comp Int Pct Yards TD Long Sack-Yds Effic
Louisiana at Monroe... 12 8 0 66.7 141 2 48 0-0 220.37
Vanderbilt............ 21 11 0 52.4 116 0 19 1-5 98.78
TOTALS................ 33 19 0 57.6 257 2 48 1-5 142.99

#12 Brice Ramsey Att Comp Int Pct Yards TD Long Sack-Yds Effic
Louisiana at Monroe... 2 2 0 100.0 51 1 31 1-6 479.20
Vanderbilt............ 4 2 0 50.0 25 0 15 0-0 102.50
TOTALS................ 6 4 0 66.7 76 1 31 1-6 228.07
_______________________________________________________________

And what is MY takeaway?

Simply this. These stats are ALREADY looking like last year's stats. Which isn't good. Greyson Lambert had a QB rating MUCH lower than Hutson Mason . . . who had a QB rating SLIGHTLY LOWER than Faton Bauta . . . who, had an almost identical QB rating with Brice Ramsey.

It's quite possible that we here at dawgs.com are . . . dare I say it . . . correct about our QB situation. It is quite possibly upside down.

But thriller, we here at dawgs.com aren't "in the arena", which, as richt is quick to point out, means we don't know what we are talking about.

sadlerdawg - I guess we here at dawgs.com need to learn what a great QB "looks like". From the evidence submitted so far, he's got to be at least 6'5". He also has to have a lot of difficulty getting his passes past the line of scrimmage (3 knock downs so far in only 2 games).

But dang it - he sure passes the "looks" test.

I'll bet richt had one of those statues from an amusement park set up at Butts-Mehre that says "you must be at least this tall to be a starting quarterback here" and had it set at 6'5".

Sorry, Brice, sorry Faton, maybe next time...
