Buc. I am sure you have read the Lady Sportswriters review of Schotty's presser.

She touched on the same points

OC learning what college ball is about in 2015

GL is at a crossroad. Anyone remember

when CMB's career was at a similar crossroad?

yd1, as I have mentioned on this board, maybe the first to do so, I have closely followed Kimberley Nash forever. The Lady is not a graduate of a Journalism School, she in my opinion is much like many of us. She loves the University of Georgia, and does not enter into some of the areas of journalism that many do. I appreciate from her what I label as "clean chatter".

I have a route that I take, almost like the newspaper route I had as a young lad. Some of the sites come and go, some repeat what is said year after year using the same language, changing only "words". Kimberley Nash speaks from her heart and . . . . vast knowledge of SEC Football.

Have noticed that the AJC recently "recognized" her talent and I might add . . . . following, of which I am certainly one.

Buc - one thing that makes me cringe is when someone comes out in a presser and says something like, "We aren't going to panic." In my experience, either in the media or in corporate situations, it usually means they ARE panicking.

But I'll take a man at his word until his word proves worthless. So for now . . . GL is the man. He does say, however, that Brice and Faton will get snaps. At least that is what he SAYS.

thriller, think we were told that we had three quarterbacks. Two that have been on campus long enough to understand what the head coach wants. He told us that the offense had not changed that much early on.

I have a problem at times when those that have talent are relegated to backup status, when we have been told over and over that Ramsey and Bauta have talent.

It has become clear that at some point next season there will be a freshman starter.

If as the offensive coordinator says, chose Lambert because he looked the best since arriving on campus. If what I have seen in the first two games is the best we have at quarterback, I have some questions . . . . should not say it but, coaching questions.

Believe it was you that said this thriller . . . . passes knocked down at the line of scrimmage, being tossed by a 6'5" quarterback . . . . sorry, not good. Not good at all. Words something like that.

Posts on this board went something like this . . . . We had better know something about our quarterback before the Alabama game . . . . Better know something this weekend. South Carolina looked real good in the second half against Kentucky on defense. This is SS coming to Athens, not ULM.

growl, SS on occasion can get more out of less than some can with a very talented group. You know, been around a long time.

Allow me this . . . .

I have this thing that keeps working its way back into my mind that concerns me.

We had a defensive coordinator come to Athens from the NFL. I was excited, one reason, something sure as hell needed to be done. Looked good in the beginning, but man did it show the true colors of that hire.

Now we have another NFL hire. I have my fingers crossed that I don't get a repeat of the first hire from the NFL.

College and NFL football are not the same. There has to be an understanding going in that there is a difference.

Move from that to this. Have mentioned more than once on this board that I like having coaches that are not that far removed from being high school coaches. I see the benefits in recruiting and let's face it . . . . these players relate to these coaches.

Still hoping that something will show up this weekend in Athens that looks a lot different than what I saw in Nashville. Slip against SS and every board that we are aware of will not be happy with that outcome.

Players play . . . . Coaches "must" coach.

Veteran offensive line. Best group of running backs in the Country. Tightends that some teams dream of. Defense that appears to be ready to "unload". Maybe they "unload" this weekend.

No excuses, eh Wartdawg.
