Buc I have to respectfully disagree about Cardiello. Several factors are in play for his transfer to

Chattanooga a school I had a son graduate from. Much like a RB that transfered to GT because

He was lost behind a group of more talent than himself with little chance of PT. Same reason the

Only RB we recruited in 2015 flipped competition. Josh new that the OL here and coming would

push him further on the depth chart. He was also feeling pressure in the classroom

Speaks loudly that he did want to try for another D1 school. He was 3*** coming in from HS

So can't fault the coaches for offering. This was before we enjoyed our recent success with OL

Subject of HC. Will speak to that at the end of the season.

Congratulations to America Pharoah. TYG. for letting me see such a beautiful horse run away from the field

Special special animal. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Go Dawgs

One has to wonder is the whole Lambert debacle came about as a quick fix distraction from the fact that we have not groomed any of the existing talent. I can think of no other reason to recruit a mediocre QB from a mediocre school from a mediocre conference. Now we have "Option D, Game Experience" for the coaches to use, since our talented trio of prospects do not.

And if and when he gets a shot and performs as expected, then the coaches have another excuse for blowing a game.

What a contrast. One week we recruit a top tier DL; the next we waste a scholarship.

Under coaches who were "QB specialists", we have demonstrated once more that we cannot consistently recruit talent and cannot consistently develop the above average talent that we do get into competent SEC starters.

Has anyone in Athens noticed the increasing gap between their "Pro-Style Offense" and what the winners in the pros actually are doing?

As Charlie Brown always said, "AAAARRRGGGHHHH".

rockdawg, understanding the way our football operation works, "Top" down is the way I see it.

For me it is understandable for the Head Coach of any football team to be the leader, think that is why most universities hire head coaches, to lead.

As you point out, where could that scholarship have been used.

For me, it falls back into that lack of competent decision making, especially when there are obviously better choices to be made. Myself and a few others can "harp" on why we think we could be "better", don't see that happening for years to come.

Still have problems reading some posts that have the message of Georgia winning 9/10 games a year. Don't hear a lot about the 3/4 losses we seem to be programmed for. Looking over our schedules the past 14 years, there is not a reason that I can bring myself to agree with being content with 9/10 wins a season. A lot of other teams could say the same thing, my problem with that is many of the other teams have not had the talent we have for many years. I also relate the talent game coming up short many seasons because we speak to winning the East, not the message sent by other coaches and universities, seems others have higher markers.

Most folks get excited when the recruited young men sign the LOI in February. Again in 2015 we have come away with what many of the talking heads seem to think is a top 5 class. Looking back over the young men that signed on in 2014, lots of talent. Now we hear about 2016 being "all that".

Takes me to this . . . . Why is it that Las Vegas has put their money on the line, betting that we win 9 games in 2015? Those in Las Vegas don't bring up 3/4 losses, just "play the game" with chosen words, words usually backed up with considerable research. Labeled as "House Money".

Too many indicators that our program has been run for too many years by those that played the quarterback position. The same quarterbacks that had "noodle arms" with the exception of one, and he has not been "all that" since he signed on with Detroit. Seems he also has had a period of adjustment trying to read defenses. Hear some of the same coming out of Athens again in 2015.

growl, you are spot on, again.

yankeedawg1, being married to a Georgia Graduate has been the single best thing that has occurred to me in my life. Knows more about football than 99% of those that I associate with. That is the truth, wife can sit in on the "deepest" of conversations about tactics and game management.

rockdawg, thanks for getting the "juices flowing" this Sunday morning.

I have basically said in this post what you posted above me. Agreement can be a good thing when "used properly". :)
