IMVHO: Lambert's transfer signals that someone is leaving....My money is on JP, he's gotten precious little press, nearly absent PT in the spring game and then there's the Bobo factor....Lambert's departure from UVA is welcome news for the Cavs....Apparently his x2 pick 6's against UCLA last season was enough to wear out his welcome in the Commonwealth.....So we pick up some baggage to fill JP's seat upon the pine!....

I truly hope that Ramsey settle's in on the "starting" role, or it will be a long year! Likewise, and I CANNOT stress this enough....Neither Stafford, nor Murray made us collectively wet our pants in the debut as "THE" starter.....All this hype being pumped into our ears and eyes may very well end up being a transfer truck filled with adult male bovine excrement!!!.....

Not surprised, actually being consistently inconsistent is the present Georgia Way!!!

NC_Dawg - absolutely correct - someone is gone. My guess is FB, since he is older than JP. However, let's all gather 'round and enjoy some Greyson Lambert Highlights:

Isn't that great?!

So reading the so called experts CMR is once again being hailed as a genius for hedging his bets because one of the 3 scholarship QB's is going else where. Brings me to what the HC at UVA said about the QB competition there this spring, "we watched every play, rep, full scrimmage and 7 on 7 and it wasn't even close". Meaning Lambert was not good enough to win the job he had and would be delegated to back up. So why not take the free ride to be with his girl and closer to home and take the offer that was rescinded by UGA because he was not good enough then. So what makes him good enough now? Mediocre play at one of the lesser ACC powers? Is he better than the 3 or even the big walk on player?

If this is genius then I would really hate to see what the ragblog writers call stoopid.

If anybody wants some good reading, go to some of the articles about The UVA qb's transfer, and read some of the comments from our fans--who definitely put us in the running for most delusional fan base again this year.

Things like:
richt knew about the transfer early on and has been planning for it and that's why no starter was named.
If any of our three qb's now transfer, they aren't true Dawgs anyway.
All this silly qb talk is unnecessary, because Eason is going to lead us to a national championship in '16 anyway.

Sometimes I get pissed when nerd fans or gator fans make fun of us, but after reading drivel like this from our fans, I certainly understand why they do it.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

sadlerdawg, sounds an awful like the "crap" that flows in the AJC "promoted" BS.

So called fans and supporters of the Red and Black that have been around about as long as the head coach. They seem to think and act alike.

Picked the paragraph below from another site. One comment in the paragraph really caught my attention. A player speaking to higher goals than the head coach.

“All the leaders as seniors, me, Josh Dawson, James Deloach, Sterling Bailey … we just all have to step up in a new role and get more playing time,” Jenkins said. “I learned a lot from the first year under Coach Pruitt just by observing guys like Mike Thornton and Toby Johnson playing there. I understand the concept that it required a little more finesse plus group strength so I had to learn that. Coach Pruitt basically has the same scheme and same stuff and he’s just like tweaking them a little bit and improving on them so even the new guys get a hang of things. Coach Pruitt has the same goals and the same mentality because we didn’t reach our goal last year … winning the national championship,” declared Jenkins. “That’s still our main goal and just to improve every day in the effort.” Sophomore cornerback Malkom Parrish says Pruitt’s expectations never change.

Head coach still after the SEC East Championship . . . . that is usually his statement when asked about "goals". Has not had a lot of success in that area since 2005.

AJC keeps its doors open by promoting exactly what you are talking about sadlerdawg. Go figure. Embarrassing to some of the folks that have a history with Georgia Football, and sure as hell understand BS when presented.

Edit . . . . The difference between Alabama's success and our success under many head coaches since the 1980's is reaching higher and expecting more. Players that sign on with Alabama when being interviewed usually say the reason for doing so is . . . . to win a National Championship.

The supposed fans you speak about are always going to be looking "two years out". That is what keeps this head coach in the pay line.
