Smith is turning this into a soap opera.

I really didn't care much for what he had to say either... seems to me to be looking for
something other than the best place to go. If he comes, he comes.. if he doesn't, I'm not losing any sleep over him.

yankeedawg1, I will be surprised if Pruitt has not moved on already from Smith and the circus Roquan is promoting. Yes, Roquan knows what he is doing.

Say this, Jeremy Pruitt is not one to allow a 17/18 year old to "run his program".

As you say above, there is not a single player in Athens that has spent 2014 with Pruitt that does not understand how "things work". All these young men need is a "prima donna" to come on board and give us more of the Shaq and Isaiah Crowell "stuff".

Pruitt said when he moved to Athens . . . . My door is open, that was not idle talk.

Has also made it clear that the same door can and will be closed, if necessary.

Looking around the internet, not surprised at the number of folks that are on their knees, begging Smith to choose UGA. Many of them were up in arms soon after Crowell showed his butt.

One word that too many of the Georgia fans(?) don't understand . . . . Leadership. Has been a problem for years, and it appears it will continue if some get their way. Pruitt and his Alabama Gang are much different than those that hired them. I said that.

Anyone notice the "silence" from our Athletic Director? I do.

How is that Indoor Practice Facility coming along . . . . sir.

If Pruitt gets his wish, along with his ability to recruit and coach, probably move up if we believe in recruiting rankings and taking his advice. Pruitt is on the trail, not sitting behind a Mahogany desk.

Tennessee under Jones seems to be on the right path, but he does have a IPF. gators will soon have a IPF.

Don't listen to Pruitt, what does he know about recruiting, sir(s). Yes Richt came out and covered the Athletic Director's backside. What happened after that, Richt was thrown under the bus, by whom?

Pruitt will convey to Smith NOW how it is going to be in Athens. If you want to come under our rules and philosophy, EARN your position and be a team player, then WELCOME to Athens.....anything less, move on and best of luck young man.

(Will say that if I was Smith I would be pretty ticked off the way UCLA handled this situation)

Hope his attitude has been somewhat misread and he would be a team player and adhere to Pruitt's expectations. He's a player and we do need an ILB.

Read elsewhere today that Smith according to his high school coach is not going to sign for for up to a week.

Too often those that can play are the BMOC'S. Think all of us know that. Did not start in the year 2015. Instant "celebrity status" has a way of working with young pups. You are right, he can play.

Already know a couple of young studs that fit the Pruitt mold in Florida that will be coming out next season. Well will not go dry if we don't get Smith. Will not be surprised to see Smith playing for TAM.

I'm not trying to judge the kid unfairly, but again.... him wanting to draw this out gives a pretty strong appearance of someone wanting to see who will sweeten the pot the most. Why else wait? He's heard all the talk.. he's seen the campuses.. what is left other than "what more are you going to give me?".
