Don't know if you read what sflanagan21 posted last evening. Has watched Terry Godwin live, said it is impossible to cover him. sflanagan21 also mentioned back when that he had watched Nick Chubb live, gave him high grades, actually of the chart grades, we know he was right on that one.

wlayton, you and I have been around Georgia football for a loooooong time. For the most part, we know what we see. I think "we" see the right defensive coaching "staff" in Athens. Pruitt not unlike Saban has a system, proved it in this 2015 Class. 2015 is loaded with the "future depth" that has been missing since . . . . way before the last 14 years.

Totally agree Buc. Excited to see what Pruitt and Company will do the next few years.

Yes I read what sflanagan21 (for me, it is now s21...lol) said about Godwin....really got my attention.

It is a good thing in my opinion to have a member like sflanagan21 that is coaching high school football in the Metro area. Coaches regardless of where they apply their trade, usually have friends that do the same at other schools. Know that to be true. ;)

wlayton meant to post this.

Pruitt said to Roquan Smith in the middle of Smith not signing the LOI. Paraphrasing . . . . Defensive staff is in place and I am going nowhere. Trying not to read too much into "not going anywhere".

What really excites me about the defense in 2015 . . . . We know that we have returning talent, a lot of very talented players. Now we bring in this 2015 Class and there is not a doubt that it is loaded. In my mind this is Pruitt/Rocker and Company's first "real year" running the defense. They know what they have in Athens, they also know what they have in the 2015 Class.

This young man has my attention. Rashad Roundtree. Saban and many others really wanted Roundtree. Reminds me of Alec Ogletree now playing for the St. Louis Rams. Could be that Roundtree will line up closer to the line of scrimmage before his playing days are over in Athens. Just like Alec Ogletree did.

Well . . . .

Falcons Hire Four Coaches, Including Dbs Coach Marquand Manuel And Lbs Coach Jeff Ulbrich.

Appears to me that Roquan Smith if wearing the Red and Black, same colors the Falcons wear, could spend time with Jeff Ulbrich in ATL. Not a lot of miles separating Athens and Atlanta.

Enough is enough. As far as the UCLA coach being honest . . . . that bucket does not hold water. They lied about not alerting Smith to what was going on. What the heck, go to the West Coast and wear UCLA's colors.

Actually not being ugly, just don't need the "stuff" that I am beginning to think is the same "stuff" that Shaq was feeding us before leaving for Louisville.

Georgia's defense is going to be lights out, want to play . . . . drop the attitude. I said that.

Realize that there are some here (me) and others elsewhere that really wanted Roquan. Our coaches did everything they could in the recruiting process. Got in too late, ok. Now hearing this "stuff" about bringing other teams into the decision.

Many of these players could have done the same thing that we are watching unfold with Smith. Couple of 5* names if folks believe in stars. Trenton Thompson and Terry Godwin.

TEAM players both.

Think I am being ugly? Go back and check the footsteps that "Louisville Shaq" left with us.

Bet this . . . . Jeremy Pruitt has not lost one minute of sleep over this "stuff". The loser here could easily be Smith. For sure Pruitt and Company understand coaching and sending players to the NFL.

First time shame on you, second time shame on me. Has been said here before.
