JJ Green moving to corner, figured that move was going to happen. My opinion, I think that's a great move! Kid can hold it down at corner!

sflanagan21, agree with you. Pruitt knows what he wants to mold, and the way he wants to go about it. Coaching.

Going to build his defensive unit with young men who have "wheels", rather than girth. For the most part. Did much the same thing at FSU he is doing with UGA. Took over for Mark Stoops, made some personnel/position changes and we saw the results of that.

Think most of us know that there is an abundance of talent in Athens on the defensive side of the ball. Said before, I really get off on solid defensive football, appears Jeremy Pruitt does also. Not only are fans getting "juiced" over Pruitt at this point, so are some very talented young players up for grabs in 2015 that are taking a much closer look at UGA's NEW EDITION.

sflanagan21, also think that Malkom Parrish is going to fit nicely into Pruitt's mold. Going to be some "scrambling" for jobs this season.

Want to personally thank todd grantham . . . . without you, this would not be possible. Glad that you did not let the door hit you on the butt when leaving.

I still can't believe our luck in Louisville hiring Grantham.

Payback to Petrino from the SEC and Atlanta Falcons. Goes around, comes around.

Buc I agree with you about being excited about Pruitt but imo I think it will take him 2-3 years to get to last year's D level at FSU. While we have very good athletes in Athens, FSU's defensive athletes were off the charts good....elite.

Lot of truth in your post wlayton.

FSU started recruiting differently when Bowden was on the way out. Jimbo Fisher took over from the time he stepped foot on campus. Fisher is also a recruiting machine.

Took some time in my opinion to clear the cob webs, but Fisher did just that.

Another reason that urban meyer left Florida. Handwriting was on the wall. Florida losing to FSU, Foley does not like that. Fisher was kicking meyer's butt in the State of Florida, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Many folks start to grade a coach after he has a couple of years in the job. Way I see it, 2015 is Pruitt's first class of recruits. He has done a very good thing in a short period of time in Athens, actually pretty remarkable.

Below is a video of Pruitt's inverview recently. Once or twice beat writers tried to trip him up, Jeremy is no ones fool. Understands how to "leave" the BS in the pasture where it belongs. Pruitt is focused. Good for us. Some may have seen this video, maybe others have not.
