Thought that this board had enough "boost" to talk UGA football throughout the year.

Here is what I see. Some are too busy with their life. Others like to talk football when the season is in full swing. Both are acceptable for me.

My bet is that most here wait for "others" to post something that "they" can either play on, or act like they know what is being presented.

Several good posters here, but it is like the "depth" that has been discussed here. Not much depth.

There are approximately 10 to 15 posters here that try and keep this board alive. I read posts that say . . . . greatest board on the internet. WTF?

Yes, I am retired, happen to be a "dude" that has been where the young pups/beat writers have been.

I do not appreciate the hit and run folks that dominate other boards. I scatch my head and wonder just how much folks on the internet understand about UGA football.

So, we have a handful of folks that post here, guess other outlets will keep this board alive. All anyone needs to do is look at the hits on a subject and then cross reference to a posted leap of faith.

College football is now a 12 month operation games cover just 4 months

Players get a recruiting following as early as the 8th grade

Just seems logical that fans get more involved. Some do

Others take parts and pieces which is why Heinz makes 57 varieties

Still good with the people that hang all year long

Real people. Real football speaks check the BS at door. GO DAWGS

Go Dawgs!

After reading your post yankeedawg1, one of your comments that stuck out to me.

Many years ago when I lived in the Winter Park area in Central Florida, I had some dealings with the Sentinel and one of their sports writers used to free lance for me. By the way, he was a Auburn graduate, never held that against him . . . . openly. I jest. :)

Picked the following up from the Orlando Sentinel, will post the link below.

One thing that really stood out to me in the article was how much Muschamp and Richt have followed the same path, somewhat.

Both seem to have problems getting the right coaches in the right positions to teach. Coaching turnovers cause many problems more times than not. I would point to Garner leaving and taking x amount of Georgia recruits with him. No doubt the young players that are attending Auburn now would have been a welcomed site in Athens.

Guess I am back to what many on this board including myself have said. Hoping that Richt comes to the realization that after 13 years, entering his 14th, appears he has finally added some pieces to the puzzle that have been with us for far too long.

Things being mentioned around the internet like . . . . Running punts back. Special emphasis on Special Teams. Other worthy thoughts about football being brought up concerning UGA and key situations. Have a feeling that the head coach might learn a thing or two this season . . . . if he pays attention to what is going on.

Still waiting to hear about McClendon's raise. McGarity don't play mind games. Handing out titles is one thing, as I have mentioned before, does not pay the bills.

Yes, Muschamp has to produce this year. When he mentions folks need to buy tickets and attend the games, there is a reason for that. Empty seats in the Swamp will get your fanny fired. FACT.

yd1, did catch the Jim Boeheim interview after the game . . . . priceless. He just grinned and had a bit of fun with it. Produces winning basketball teams.

Here is hoping that Tuscaloosa East makes some serious inroads in UGA football.

Buc when I first signed up in 2010 you wereone of the first to extend a genuine welcome that was followed by many more

As I have posted several times before I am big about having a passion for what you do in life

IMO. We now have a group of assistant coaches who have a healthy measure of passion that they bring to work each day. A very good thing. It will spend to the players a very very good thinh
