What do you think about Sony and Isaiah two deep on the kickoff return? Being as serious as I can be when I ask that. Looking for something to change the tone of doing things the same way, year after year. That is another reason that I sometimes mention Faton Bauta.

Buc, is there a chance Isaiah is too small for kickoff? Maybe better at punt returns so all he has to do is make 1 guy miss, then get up the middle. maybe I'm thinking of the wrong recruit, but you don;t think he's too small to go full steam on a KO?

Shannon, they say he is 5'8". Most coaches whether high school or college tend to "mess" with height and weight, along with speed and . . . . fill in the blank. You know the drill.

Shannon, he is one tough young man. Physically, his body is put together better than 99% of those that play football. Hard to get a hand or hands on him. Vision, you are a soccer coach, vision means so much. Vision was a huge part of Billy Sims and the way he played at . . . . 5'8".

Many here won't know this name, or did not get to see him play . . . . Buzzy "Super Frog" Rosenberg. 5'7" . . . . listed that way in the media guide . . . .

First time he touched the ball for UGA, returned a punt against Tulane for a touchdown, 60 yards. Back in the days when we had "Railroad Tracks". I know, money is the name of the game. Goofy and others need that green stuff.

Sorry, there I go again, answer to the question no. Meaning "yes" my bet is he is our next kickoff and punt returner. Hope that Sony is back there with Isaiah, creates a lot of one on one football. Could get creative and use both "messing" with the football on reverses and such. I know, this old fart needs to understand that I am out of the arena. Does not mean that I have to accept that.

One thing for Gurley or others to run over a few big guys, but there comes a time when it is not the smartest way to play the game. Much easier to get to the second level and play grown man football.

Have read a few comments from all around the internet about Sony Michel being a shifty back that avoids running between the tackles. If you read this post, remember it when Sony is on the field. Much of that comes from those that you have to pay to read. Sony Michel is afraid of nothing, he is a very smart young man with God given talent, and he uses it well. Smart has a place in college football.

Hmmmmm....."avoids running between the tackles". If he thinks he doesn't need to run between the tackles and can out run guys to the corner like he did in HS, he's got a rude awakening. He's never seen speed like he's going to see in the SEC. He had better learn to hit it up between the tackles and then break to the outside in this league.....this isn't HS anymore.

There are a few safeties, linebackers and DE's in this league that love to hit RB's trying to take it to the "edge". You are exactly right wlayton. he better learn to hit it up the gut or he better be blazing fast and turn that corner very quick.
