What he is is a bad leader of men into battle on saturdays.

Heck, that doesn't make him a bad guy. Hell, I may be a bad leader of men and I happen to think I'm a decent guy.

Agree with most of your post, Shannon, except, richt IS a bad evaluator of talent. Just a couple that stand out--he said he would have recruited Cam Newton as a tight end, and Nick Marshall was a DB here. Plus, he obviously has NO idea how to evaluate O-line talent. Just because he lures enough skill players to have 3-4 QB's and 7-8 RB's at the same time does not make him a good talent evaluator.

Been watching scam for 3 years with the panthers and he is over rated. Really not a top qb at all. i remember the first time I ever even heard his name was the opening night against clemson a few years ago. Didnt like him then and wanted to puke when the panthers drafted him. They got lucky to win that clemson game, and lucky to win a few more that year.

He won a nc though so he is da man, right?

Well, since he won the Heisman trophy, and the NC, I'd say he's probably a better QB than he would have been a tight end. My post was about richt's talent evaluation, not whether or not you're a fan of Cam.

Something that really caught my eye in your post #18 ogredawg.

Looking at the top ten recruiting classes.

For what the following is worth, and I personally believe it is a point well made.

#2 TAM, recent head coaching change.
#3 FSU, long time coach replaced not that long ago by Jimbo Fisher.
#5 Tennessee, recent head coaching change.
#6 ohio state, recent head coaching change . . . . (shudder)
#7 Florida, recent head coaching change.
#8 Miami, recent head coaching change.
#9 Auburn, recent head coaching change.
#10 Georgia

mark richt reminds me of obama, gives a great speech. However like the old hamburger commercial years back . . . . "Where's the beef"? Both apparently good family men, just sitting in the wrong seats. Comes a time, regardless of who you are, what you have accomplished in the work force or in coaching . . . . time to "get along little doggie".

This post reminded me of what I mentioned earlier about some of your posts. Not only being used, but being "messed" with. Some things never seem to change sadlerdawg.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, Buc. His "response" was so far off of what I was talking about, it's hard to consider it a legitimate reply, and nothing more than just trying to get a rise. Not sure why, but it doesn't bother me to point out the ridiculousness of his posts.
