Why is it we don't have any conversation on this board about the upcoming Gator Bowl?
One of my shorter posts. Just asking.
Because the Gator bowl against the same mediocre Nebraska team we played last year in a non BCS bowl game isn't exciting.
Winning proves very little and losing... well...
Just hard to get fired up about this game.
This. Might of got a little bit more excited if we pulled Michigan or something, but I doubt it since we would still be in the who gives a dang bowl.
Just tired of being in the same situation year after year bc our team for whatever reason always comes up short, BCS bowl game once every 3 or so years would be nice, even though we has the talent to go every year. Ill be surprised to see us ever go to another BCS bowl under Richt.

3rd tier bowl game for sure. Hard to get excited about going back to Jax unless we are playing the gaytors. would of been a little more excited if it was the Chik Fil A Bowl against Duke but you cannot blame them for wanting TAM with JM running that offense and a great coach like Sumlin leading them. I think that will be one of the best bowl games to watch because Cutcliff has done a fine job at Duke and they can play football with a bunch of 2 and 3 stars.

Buc, all the above for me as well.
Will say that I am excited to watch HM play and see how he leads a team that is probably not very motivated. Glad to see him getting much needed experience for next year.
Not so sure Neb is motivated either, plus believe they have some internal problems going on with that team.
Also will see two great RB's against each other.....that will be fun to watch.
Guess I'm "reaching" for something to be interested in during the game......as has been said many times.....just a little "tired" but ALWAYS love watching the Dawgs no matter what situation.

The only thing that really excites me about the game wlayton is hoping that some of the new blood especially on the O line gets to play at length in this game. But I doubt it as cmr will want his seniors to play most of it even if we blow them out like this offense can do at times......

ogredawg, in past posts and threads you have mentioned not over looking the 2 and 3 star rated players.
Below, which you have probably read, as well as others, makes your posts stand out. Some of these young folks really and truly love the Red and Black. Shows what happens when a young man commits himself to the program. A walk-on, Heaven forbid, such a thing can and does happen.
Appears to me that the young man just out of high school being awarded a scholarship, forgot what it was he was "drafted" to do. You snooze, you lose. Good on Erickson.
Forced to say this, not really forced, do like to see a head coach make strong decisions. He offered the full scholarship, but put the team first . . . . a sign of things to come? I keep getting "flash backs" of IC on the sideline in ATL, and apologies to urban meyer.
