Chief growl, you were there on the Bridge, got to see and hear "everything". Know that you had clearance.

growl, when I think of Signalmen, makes me think about grantham and his "sheet flag". Maybe he needs to simplify his "code". ;)

Next season our defense will have most of the starting players returning. From everything that I have seen from that side of the ball this season, this is how I feel.

First I hope that richt has grown a backbone and releases grantham. This is not his college friend that he shared the bench with in Miami. There comes a time when decisions have to be made. grantham, in my judgment will not leave without being told to do so. Money as yd1 said in his thread is not a problem here.

The quickest fix that I can come up with is Chris Wilson taking the position of defensive coordinator. My reason for that? Chris Wilson came in and ran grantham's three man front and made progress. Chris Wilson with a four man front improves our defense at least . . . . 30%. If that sounds low, believe me, it is not.

If there are those on this board that believe richt is leaving, you have your head up your butt. Ain't going to happen.

Here is what mark richt is faced with . . . . he is supposed to be all that on the offensive side of the ball. Next season on offense, who is going to protect Hutson Mason, pocket passer? richt and company have not addressed that in more years than I can count. I do not believe there are too many quarterbacks in the NATION that could take the beating that AM did and get up and play.

What I do believe is Faton Bauta could turn this offense around. So, what happens? We go back to the days of playing quarterbacks because they have put their time in. Think most of us know how that turned out, more than once.

We have in Faton Bauta a quarterback that is stronger, can throw the ball better than Nick Marshall and runs like Brandon Douglas. He is smart, rugged and should be our quarterback.

Hutson Mason reminds me of the talk that we hear about mark richt. A good man, stuck around for years, now he gets his turn. I am not opposed to anyone "winning the job". I am against time in grade if you are less qualified. That my Bulldog Friends has been the downfall of Georgia football. Someone needs a pair of you know whats. richt does not have them, check out the procedures and time he took to release Willie. Then Willie left and told richt to stick it.

Seems to me that many on this board have moved over to what was one time not accepted. Most posting here seem to understand that "change" is a must.

Not going to stop folks, not my MO. mark richt and todd grantham and maybe soon McGarity, plus the President of our University can either hear us or they will soon see those empty seats that have been discussed here before.

Empty seats, not the players fault, lack of leadership for too many years. If you disagree, please explain to me why we have folks like Ramik Wilson sitting on the bench last year, even though we had talent, it is not like Ramik was not talented enough to play, think he leads the SEC in tackles this season (must be a mistake). Anyone remember Ramik in the Alabama game and the play he made?

The same talent that led us to Orlando, not a BCS game and now play in the NFL. Folks that is the main sales pitch that grantham uses . . . . sending players to the NFL. Why? He failed in Cleveland and was not hired by New Orleans. What about the UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA? Piss on the NFL and where you want to be grantham. You are no longer wanted in the NFL. My bet is you don't go back.

This year what, the Gator Bowl. One more thing, every team had injuries, thank the Lord that AM made it through, otherwise as yd1 said in his thread, a 3-7 season at this point.

DEADBEAT COACHING. Coach'em up, the leaders of this group think we are speaking Russian when we say that. They do not understand, but they remain in the pay line. Good men.

If you disagree, bring your thoughts forward, would like to hear them.

If I were tg I'd have to back up to the man handing out the checks, cause I sure as hell could'nt look him in the eye.

The title of this thread is rumblings. Amazes me at this point we don't hear more folks asking for a change in Athens.

Forget who it was that said . . . . "Georgia at this point is a mediocre team in D1". Impossible to disagree with that statement. We are a 6-4 team at this point, and the four losses, teams that we were picked at the beginning of this season to win. While the teams that play in the SEC are faced with tougher schedules, seems that the fittest survive, and those that have a "game plan" come out on top.

Does it not drive you nuts when we come out of a time out and have 12 players on the field. Where does the fault lie? If you played for my coach, or played for me when coaching in Japan, that did not happen.

Really want to hear someone say to me that we did not show a lack of "confidence" on the opening kickoff in the Auburn game. If I am a player that accepts that, then I am playing for the right coaches.

Realize that many of you do not understand what I am trying to get across when I say that mark richt is doing exactly what he watched Bobby Bowden do. Allow me this . . . . Bobby Bowden, good man, took every dime that was promised. OK, that was a contract. Is it not a contract that the person hired as head coach should be putting his best foot forward?

That is where the rubber meets the road my friends. If mark richt is putting his best foot forward coaching the Georgia Football Team, VD missed on another hire. Was not the first time, VD also was all about VD and his hiring practices caused a lot of problems in Athens.
