scooby,

Just curious, what level of confidence do you have in our current coaching staff winning the SEC (forget NCs for now, just to keep it simple)?

Personally, my confidence level is about 20% TOPS which means I can see UGA winning the SEC 1 out of every 5 years. Furthermore, since our Dawgs haven't won the SEC Title since 2005, I'd say I am probably TWICE as confident as I should be meaning 10% or 1 out of 10 years is more representative of our past results. I'd venture to guess that some of our members here would say less than 5% confidence with some stating maybe 0% (sad but understandable).

If you are more confident than myself or others, please elaborate as to why? My only hopes on winning the SEC hinge on the fact that we recruit well enough to have players w/sufficient skills to overcome the weak coaching & that our offense is pretty darn good thanks to top flight talent at the RB position & solid depth at WR/QB positions (IF Mason isn't REALLY good, our offense will almost certainly take a step back next season).

scooby was hoping that you really wanted to discuss football.

Picked this up from your last post.

They are not going to be so big and bad in the next few years. They will have a few soso years and be wanting to get rid of him as the game has passed him by....

Have you really looked at the recruits heading to Tuscaloosa. Seems to be a pattern with this Nick Saban guy, along with his right hand man Kirby Smart.

Georgia football talk works on this board whether for or against. Come on dude.

They come, they go, good ones remain.

Have said this before, taught to me prior to entering 1st grade.

Good, Better, Best
Never Let It Rest
Until The Good Is Better
And The Better Is Best.

Thanks Mom. My Mother is now 98 years young and still living in Atlanta, been there since 1952.

Nick Saban works according to the principles taught to me by my Mom. :)
