Pointed out FB has a head for football if anything he has learned from AM you need to put your time in learning the playbook and how to read defenses
And.......extra work then do some more work
Unlike. Hs. It takes both brawn and brains Given we have a week before Tech I would not be
Surprised to see FB run a wild Dawg type play. Go Dawgs
Question . . . .
Have you or anyone heard anything about Faton Bauta running the #2's against the #1's in preparation for Auburn? Asking around, did Faton Bauta cause the #1's many problems?
Being brutally honest, don't think that there is much separating the number one and number two offensive lines. Can imagine Faton Bauta causing problems to grantham's defense.
Do I think that Georgia will change the way we play on offense, drastically. No way. Here is the beauty that I think Bauta possesses . . . . can do both.
Hutson Mason is going to be the #1 as long as he can get the job done. No reason to question that. I hear some noise about Brice Ramsey, that is a good thing. A lot of attention has been given to Jacob Park tossing his hat in the ring. That is also a good thing.
OK, the quarterback position seems to be in good standing for some time to come. Rarely do we totally miss out at the position. Sometimes, but rarely. Coaches that played quarterback seem to like to keep the stocking full.
Nick Saban wanted Brice Ramsey because he sees him as another McCarron. Nick went after Brice with a full head of steam, just one of those that he did not get.
Brings me to this . . . . Want to keep the quarterback happy? Spend some serious time year after year on the offensive line. When the offensive line is not up to par, quarterbacks live in fear. Not all, some. AM was/is a Not all. Not all will be AM.
One true freshman played on the offensive line this year. That bothers me. Every year we seem to find freshmen that play other positions. They, just like the offensive linemen have to learn to play a position. Has that not been the "EXCUSE" for this season coming from grantham?
Coaches need to take a look at themselves. What can they do to improve the team? From where I sit, a coaching change, if not that, then maybe take a hard look at those like us that "speak the football language", drop your damn egos and move forward. Some of us probably had more "real time" on the football field than our UGA coaches. JMHO.
