Norm Van Brocklin could not stand him. Norm was a pocket passer man. Tough Eagle.
Yeah... Brocklin thought Fran was a sandlot player, and didn't have any respect for that running
around garbage.
Brocklin was so tight arsed he makes Tom Coughlin look like Jerry Glanville.
God Bless and Go Dawgs

It's about par for the course for this team's luck. We must have been branded with the #13 when we tripped over that black cat and got snake bit while we were walking under a ladder to try and retrieve that 4 leaf clover we dropped.
DGD indeed. I wanted to see AM walk off the field after a bowl victory.... not like this. That was tough to watch.

yd1, when AM broke one of his parts in high school, he was in the press box calling plays with the coach. FACT.
Like AJ Green said last night when being interviewed on the sideline . . . . Played with AM one season he said. AM is a leader and also said he will be a first round draft choice. AM moved the bar up in Athens, not only for himself, also for his coaches and teammates. His example will be hard to follow, but that is a good thing.
yd1, Faton Bauta has many of the same characteristics. Yes, it did make me feel good to see him on the field. My guess, even though the coaches have made it clear that Hutson Mason is the number one signal caller, as you said earlier, Mike Bobo and company have their eyes on Faton. We don't need to return to habits that Garner had, favortisim. We have been through that before and should understand the results of such practices.
grantham under the gun again. By now he should have a "better understanding" on stopping the GT. He definitely has more talent on the defensive side than earlier games.
Have to say this. Josh Harvey-Clemons is ready. So much talent. Scary. Young man keeps his head in the right place, he will not only mean a lot to his future($), he will have a "positive effect" on our University. "Positive" meant the right way.

Best question of the year!!
