Not quite sure why you said that wlayton. Are you really in tune with mark richt's personal character, to the point that you can lay it out for everyone?
Getting a bit tired of the same old, same old. Don't need for someone to tell me how much character mark richt has, whether on or off the field. I just as you will be the judge of that.
Do you know more than you read in the AJC or JAX news that you can share?
University of Georgia no longer needs a Bobby Bowden, can attend the church of our choice, or not go at all.

If you'll reread my post, I simply said, "I don't really know the man", do you or anybody here really know him? I'm not judging the man EXCEPT from a coaching standpoint and I'm probably not "really" qualified to do that. We all agree about the lack of coaching acumen but for me, I don't see any need to take it to a personal level on a sports forum.
I have never met him so I have no personal judgement at all....besides, who am I to judge anyway??
That simple.

And pointing out his coaching abilities should be the end to it. I honestly couldn't care less if Richt joined Rob Ford and smoked some crack. If he's an amazing coach, that is all that matters. Too bad he is not and that is the only reason why I want him gone.
With that said, anyone else read this?:

“Obviously at the end of the game, you’ve got to know to knock a ball down in that situation,” Richt said. “We had a timeout prior to that. I’m in there. (Defensive coordinator Todd) Grantham is in there. We’re all in there. I could have easily said, ‘Hey guys, if the ball’s launched deep, bat it down’. I could have said that. That’s a good reminder for our young bunch of guys back there, you know.”
Nobody did, he said.
“I, quite frankly, didn’t think it was time that they were going to launch one,” Richt said.
I don't think it can get any worse.
