The Off-Week next up UGA/FLA thread.

Looking at the injuries to quarterbacks and some that could not get their teams moving this weekend, makes me feel good that AM will lead us in JAX. Young man has taken some serious hits during his time in Athens, and Florida will try their best to make his 3 or 4 hours on the turf in JAX miserable. AM is one tough young man.

Florida's offense has had some problems the last few years, thinking or hoping that continues this upcoming weekend. Muschamp reasoning for calling the offensive coaches back from recruiting to prepare for Georgia is shown in the stats below.

Again, here is hoping that the offensive line comes to play in JAX. Muschamp will have his defense playing as nasty as he looks many times on the sidline.

Looking closely at this thread, seem to remember when Georgia/Florida were mentioned folks had some things to say.

First step is winning in JAX. That is a major step when recruiting in South Georgia. Regardless of where we end up this season, we better pay attention to the talent that watches this game closely.

Recruits choosing a university does not mean a thing until February. We/Georgia should understand that well after looking at past years of recruiting.

Another scary thing. FSU is making a run at the South Georgia talent again. Once upon a time the recruiting forces made a point of saying Athens is a lot further away than Tallahassee and the talent from South Georgia liked the shorter distance and the mess that UGA was involved in for a long time.

Lack of coaches, win/loss record and distance. Means a lot to families below Macon. As has been said, Atlanta does not seem to be locked into Athens as far as athletes are concerned. Recently seems that most of the young men around the Atlanta area prefer crossing the Chattahoochee.

Enough of FSU, Mark Richt and company had better come to play in JAX. This game could very well decide whether or not some on the 2014 Recruiting Board remain.

Saban/Smart keep getting players for one reason . . . . anyone watch Alabama take Tennessee apart at the seams yesterday? Why is that happening?

Really want to go to Atlanta and play Alabama again? What about in 2014 or 2015? Anyone looking at the recruiting efforts that are easy to find concerning Saban's efforts pulling young men to Tuscaloosa?

Florida is a huge game, but this particular year it means much more than some years past. Jobs are at stake, and so are recruits.

No excuses from the coaching staff, this is going to be a war. Sure hope that we understand how to line up. Far enough into the 2013 schedule for our young pups to play FAST. Florida will play fast on defense. We slip on defense, Murphy will make us pay.

Question . . . . Who is going to long snap? Question . . . . Who is going to punt? Lots of questions before next Saturday in JAX. Do I mind posting to myself, hell no, care about what the future brings.

Florida lost the best player on their football team this year. Florida's wrecking-ball defensive tackle, senior Dominique Easley, suffered a season-ending ACL injury in his right knee at practice.

Losing Easley brought Florida to its knees. Jadeveon Clowney from South Carolina is not half the football player that Easley is. Reason I say that is this . . . . Florida losing Easley hurt Florida as much as Georgia losing Gurley.

We get Gurley back, we play offense. Florida will play defense, but they are not the same team without Easley. Check this out, Florida will intercept if we are loose with the ball. Defensive backfield is very good. One back is outstanding.

Still believe with three big offensive backs we can cause problems. Florida wants us to throw the football.

If we come into JAX thinking we can play as we did in Nashville, we will get our butts kicked.

Believe that Florida will play man and bring heat. Of course our coaches know that. Right?

Well Buc, seems you have done your homework. Yes Florida wants UGA to put the football in the air. Toughest problem for Muschamp this season has been an offensive line than can open holes against his defense. Can Georgia's offensive line do that? Clock is ticking, see soon enough.

Another question is will our defense control the edge. If we forget about playing for the NFL and play position football, Florida will have a bad day in JAX.

Buc, most of the folks on this board know that. Those that don't . . . . well AJC has some openings.

yankeedawg1, great watching #9 do his thing today. Watched every bit of what he and his recievers did. Smart move on Matt's part to just do it without saying anything.

Shaw is all that yankeedawg1. Thought I might go to sleep last evening . . . . Shaw would not let me go down. Came in 3rd quarter, did some special things.

I would be wrong if I did not say this. JAX is going to be one heck of a game. Both teams realize the importance of this game. So much importance, goes way beyond many games played in the past.

yd1, thanks for coming up. Most on this board have other things to do. Many get excited when we are winning, understand that.
