8 or 9 wins worked for Dooley.
Not much has changed.

Much has changed. The sport now is far more visible and profitable than in Dooleys day. Success is measured differently too. The coming playoff will be another mega shift following the first which was pervasive TV exposure. College football is very different now.

Understand your post averagedawg. Goes to the point made earlier about the "good old boys", referred to some as "mahogany row". Yes that exists in college sports, big business, corporate America has understood the basics forever.

If Dooley however had been judged on wins and losses as is the case with Richt, wonder how short his coaching career would have been.

Visibility of college football changing, yep. Much like the NSA, Obama and Chancellor Merkel, can't hide, all warts are shown. Mickey and Minnie preparing for a "cheese feast".

We ain't seen nothing yet . . . . the selection committee will do a much better job in determining who plays for the Crystal . . . . right? Already have coaches and AD's grumbling about who was chosen to sit on the "committee". Just an extension of what we see coming out of Washington, from where I sit . . . . BS.

Seems the word is Muschamp working hard to get the gators focused on JAX. Continuing lack of season ticket sales has "Mahogany Row" "concerned". Bull Gators don't live by Foley's endorsements that don't produce. As banged up as both teams are, this is going to be a serious game in more ways than one.

Kelvin Taylor, ***** running back, son of Fred Taylor, not much more needs to be said. Young man is really good.

Time of the year when Florida folks prove to one and all just how much they hate UGA.

Pace will quicken down this way . . . . love to remind the gators we have noticed that Muschamp is now praising UGA, not guaranteeing a win for the gator faithful, and the gator idiots.

I would like to address each of thos eissues individually.

On point #1 - Dear Florida Gayduhr fans, please enjoy this: www.google.com/#q=run+lindsay

On point #2 - 'nuff said.

On point #3 - Get out a map, and look at it. Using that 11th finger your wonderful genetics gave you...measure the distance between Gainesville and Jacksonville. Then do the same for Jacksonville and Athens, Ga.

On point #4 - I'll give you that one, but most of us here want that clown gone.

On point #5 - Really?? barking??? Let me remind you of this stupidity:

On point #6 - 1904? Really? How about let's just talk about the past 100 years and stop there. You're really digging around the bottom of the barrel to find this reason.

On point #7 - Your band is called "The Pride of the Sunshine". How can you even keep a straight face when you say that?

On point #8 - You want to talk about a celebration with Spurrier wanting to hang half a hundred because we won a game back in 1966?

On point #9 - Oh yes.. these lyrics were sung as the Union marched to the sea:

Glory, glory to old Georgia!
Glory, glory to old Georgia!
Glory, glory to old Georgia!
G-E-O-R-G-I-A.
Glory, glory to old Georgia!
Glory, glory to old Georgia!
Glory, glory to old Georgia!
G-E-O-R-G-I-A.

Oh and just for the record - The UGA "fight song" is "Hail to Georgia", not "Glory, glory"... and I love the
state of Florida talking about Yankees. 3/4's of your state is comprised of Yankees.

On point #10 - And you think you're a national power? What have you ever done outside of Tim Tebow?

God Bless and Go Dawgs
