The newcomer sometimes thinks that he or she is pointing out something that we have not heard, digested, massaged, considered a 100 times over already.
I always want to be welcoming to new members, but extolling the virtues of MR and talking about how we can't possibly do any better is not something I even want to hear right now. Been there... done that.... have the tee-shirt, and I'm not wearing it any longer.

Quayvon Hicks. Have noticed that he is sharing time at fullback, or it might be that Merritt Hall is sharing time with Quayvon Hicks.
What happened to Hicks carrying or catching the ball? That is to be answered by the offensive side, the same side that Mark Richt once upon a time had a hand in. Good enough to run and catch the football against Clemson, guess the teams we have faced since then don't require his skills. BS.
Tightends, what is going on there? Also, Jay Rome, thought he was going to be all everything. Was hoping that would be the case. Maybe we were wrong thinking that because he was Stan's son that he would be a load. Have seen nothing at this point that comes close to his father. Understand the injuries, just really wonder if the hat size was too large when he was rated the number one tightend in the nation.
Other side of the Jay Rome coin. Could it be that the coaching at Georgia has limited Jay in what he can do on the football field. Once upon a time the press release was that Jay could not block. OK. Jay could not block last year, has he not progressed since then . . . . Hard for this old timer to understand that a young man that stands 6'5 or 6" with great hands and above average speed weighing in at 250 or so is where he is at this point. Make a bet . . . . Jay Rome will be a really good tightend in the NFL.
Reminds me of a kicker that had problems at Georgia that no one could help him with. Now in the NFL and one of the best, if not the best. Picture is very clear to me.
Look guys, don't know of any ladies on this board at this point. Here is the point that I am trying to make. All of us know that we get great high school talent to wear the Red and Black. What is going on with these young men? Were they just good high school football players? Not really SEC caliber football men.
Don't know what everyone on this board thinks, if however we are going to talk hiring a new head coach, questions about present players have to be asked. Touched briefly on Hicks and Rome, will definitely look for input on some others that Richt steered to Athens. Yes Richt is responsible to Moms and players. Richt is also responsible to you and I, we makeup that salary and roast beef and green beans that he gets every year.
Just saying, and as I said Saturday in another thread, ain't done yet.

Conley and Wooten... those two are not chicken---- either. They are experienced guys who AM has worked with and guys who have made plays.
I do not believe that the opponents can scheme to take away Conley, Wooten, Artie, Rome, Hicks.
Hall, and whatever else we run out there at RB.
AM will probably go on to the NFL and be the next Drew Brees as well. That's still a talented O.
Seems like either by MR command or Bobo on his own, we have lost half our playbook and are playing overly conservative. I know you grind it down and play conservative trying to run clock, but when you just can't do it... they know and load up.. you've got to be creative.. maybe throw the ball past the line of scrimmage on 2nd down and 7... Shesshuss Monkey it makes me want to spit nails.

I'm actually quite okay though..

What I am really bothered about the most is the fact that I kept trusting that this staff would eventually get it done. I had this little voice always nagging at me about the issues, but I decided since this was the staff we had, that I needed to be more positive and supportive.
So in some way.... I'm also mad at myself for believing this staff would get better and the UGA team would get it done.
