I won't rag on Richt for saying the SEC crown is his goal every year.

I am sure that his goal is to win every game. No doubt at all.

Plus there has always been a sense that the NC as it stands today has always been a bit political.. sometimes very controversial, and really out of a teams control to a degree. The one thing that a team can control 100% is to win the SEC. That is decided on the field, and no where else. Never in the back room at Disney.

Anyway... that's just humble Richtspeak, and I don't think he shoots for just a secondary title.

We've heard this before. When Richt started 0-2.... everyone just knew he was going to retire and go be a missionary.

It didn't happen then and I don't think it will happen now barring some sort of complete implosion and incredible turmoil within the program that just doesn't exist at this moment.

What depresses me the most about the Missouri game:
An undisciplined defense, receivers who can't catch a perfect pass, no protection for a QB who can't do it all himself.
I've seen all this crap before.
Injuries not withstanding, we still had the talent to win this game.

Have a few thoughts about everything been going on.

Do we think our offense was more talented than Mizzou's Saturday? I do not. Felt like they have very good WR's if not the best I have seen. Very tall, fast, and athletic. Also, much more experienced than ours. Our QB I would take over any, but not sure with the rest. Their backs aren't Gurley or Mashall, but believe they are very talented. Also, very experienced there too. On the defensive side, believe I heard all 11 starters were Jr's or Sr's. Had 2 defensive ends that will hear their names in the draft no doubt.

With all that said, wonder what happens if we don't fumble deep in Mizzou territory. Heck, if we even get a FG there what happens? If our offense doesn't miss an assignment, and don't give them points. 2 plays.

O-line is taking a lot of heat. Not sure who was to blame on the sac of Murray that caused the TD, but looked to Gates pinched and Lynch thought he had help. But, we also had success running the football. They have played better than most. Unfortunately, I feel all eyes are just looking for the mistakes they make. I even got frustrated with them during the game, but have had some time to think.

Lot of questions to be answered for sure.

2 defining plays, fumble in the red zone, Murray sack/fumble for a Missouri TD.
Add the roughing the passer call and the most pathetic third down defense I have ever seen, could have been a different game.
Should've. could've, would've.
Can't take the Vandy game for granted, given our history with them.
