No Matter how you cut it, when it comes to playing Alabama,Tennessee,Florida,Lsu and usually Auburn and assuming the talent is the same(which it usually is)Georgia lays an egg 90% of the time. We got real lucky against Tenn. this year or else we'd have two losses in the SEC and there would be no use in the talk about repeating what happened last year. It's becoming real plain to me that for whatever reason UGA has lost any semblance of an edge against these teams in any given year, and frankly I'm getting real tired of the same old s--t and as a fan there is absolutely nothing I can do about it except complain. I'm almost to the point of not watching those games, if I were'nt such a glutton for punishment I probably would find something else to do.

Sadly what I see happening is that we will beat an over-rated Florida squad (good, but not #2 good)....

Richt will pound his chest about proving that UGA can beat a ranked team (once every 6 years), and we will give him a 10 year extension and keys to the city.

Then come 2013 we will be a 7-5 squad.

I am not believing we will beat uf at this point. If we do, and they are still undefeated going into that game, then I am fine with Richt pounding his chest. That means uf would have beaten lsu and usc so they would be a legit team in my opinion. But, I don't really believe uf will beat usc, and I don't have any reason to believe we will beat uf at this point.

I said about the only way Richt would impress me at this point would be to beat uf, luck up and somehow get to the SEC champ game, and win it. Then, you have me believing again CMR.

Tired of excuses coaches. I realize you are not solely the ones to blame. Yes, the players are kids, but my parents taught me to be accountable for my actions, and they shouldn't get a free pass either. Not going to pin-point them out, but I expect for them to make plays as much as I expect coaches to coach. I saw quite a few plays that could have been made where players were in the right position. Make the plays. But Richt has to answer for it, and I understand that.

Will say this, when I played, I didn't need a coach to motivate me. The fear of failing was all that I needed. To know that I just let another man beat me was always enough motivation for me. But times are changing.

In a big game our coaches pucker up so tight they choke left and right.

Same thing happens to our players. They pucker up so tight they fail to make plays.

Yeah I've noticed the pucker factor is really high on the sidelines.

Coaches standing around looking like they've quit.

They certainly look as if they have no idea what color the bus was that just ran over them, and they most assuredly look like they don't know what to do about it....

So why do we expect anything different from our players?


They are just kids.... the guys on he sidelines are grown men... theoretically I mean.
