Would this question even be asked if we were 3-2 or 4-1 with a loss to either Mizzou or Tn.

Having what, for the most part, has looked like pro-level talent on the offensive line helps tremendously
Totally agree with you and Buc.
Btw, the D side of the ball has just as much talent, is CTG being taken to the woodshed? Oh, AM is a 3 year player.

CTG maybe having trouble keeping the defense fresh, our O is scoring fairly quickly... Even when we run, we seem to score at will. The D was on the field for at least 88 plays on Saturday. 49 in the second half...
If you look at the game, when they were fresh, UT had a max of 6 or 7 plays and punt, late in the first half and mid 2nd half on they were beginning to get wore down. I don't know the fix.
We had 24 plays in the 1st quarter, no more than 16 in each of the other quarters. UT only had 14 plays in the 1st quarter, and 25, 20, and 29 the other quarters.
Just an observation I had...
When you score quickly, you have to pay piper sooner or later. We couldn't seem to score slowly, we ran the ball and scored, we through a slant and scored.

REALLY a nice problem to have. Just keep scoring, fast, slow, whatever......I'll then take my chances with the D.

We can have a thousand plays, won't make a difference on Saturday's if we can't produce on plays 1 through 5. Comes down in the end to the young pups on the field of play.
Not saying that this does not make me wonder about coaching styles. The beauty of having AM is the experience he has gained over the 3 years of his leadership. Now he is a coach on the field, could see some of that last season. This season, AM is the "Boss Man" at the line of scrimmage. Mark Richt said in his pressers, more than one press conference, AM has the coaches blessings to change the plays. That is huge in my playbook.
wlayton, if we score on every play, suits me also. It will get "testy" in Columbia. This is what SEC Football is all about. I wouldn't want it any other way. Said before, say it again . . . if we go to Columbia and play our hearts out and lose, don't have any complaints. Have to say this though . . . our talent level is way up there, don't think this group can and will be intimidated. Referees, let them play.
One more thing, glad we have a quarterback with experience, going to be a very loud place to play football.
