Spent my life in the publishing business, have watched many come and go. Always stood behind the people that were of good character.

There are always folks that play on the edge, sometimes playing on the edge gives one a better overall chance at helping others.

Don't know enough about this one gray shirt matter to remove this young pup from all of the "gray area". I do know this from being in the publishing business, media types are many times worse than those that they point fingers at. NCAA is looking at folks to read the riot act to, if what Saban has done is wrong, they would jump on him and make Ohio State look lily white.

My main concern is UGA getting focused, so I will ask you this question? Is Mark Richt focused? Focused enough on . . . . football . . . . to make those of us that live and die with our football team happy. Why do we not have more football trophies than Alabama? Is it because Saban cheats or because we have no leadership? Can or will Mark Richt lead us to a National Championship?

I have been a part of UGA football more years than Mark Richt can count. He is mediocre at best. Those that think he will take UGA to the pinnacle, some call it dreaming. Anyone on this board that can explain to me why we are in the situation that we are in? wlayton you mention defensive backs. I have that same comment coming from you last year before a game was played. I had had asked the question what folks on this board thought was our largest concern. You said defensive backs. I said offensive line. Now what are we faced with under our head coach. Both areas are in dire need of help, coming from your post and mine.

Am I po'd. Yep. Why? Because I don't see leadership. I had hoped that McGarity would be the answer, beginning to have some thoughts about that. Mick going to extend Mark Richt's contract because of his leadership, still have that land for sale in Florida. I have more, and will speak my mind if pressed.

Buc I know I stated that our cover guys was my concern. They showed up as a well coached bunch of young men this year. I have very little concern on the D side of the ball......even being thin at DB....why because of the coaching....bottom line is CTG brings out the best in his players......this cannot be said for the O side of the ball......seems a few here who have supported CMR are changing thier tune after this years recruiting debacle. No excuse to leave 6 scholarships hanging out there.....

Buc, can't argue with you. Don't know if it is a matter of "focus" or what......do know it's becoming a trend. How do you not recruit a ton of OL and DL???? Just don't get it or understand it. Herschel couldn't run behind our OL's.

Really want CMR to succeed and was happy for him with his 10 win run but....but....but ???

If I had that many scholarships left on the table, I'm out signing 2 star OL at least for some depth.....now the DB position is in dire need (granted losing 6 players is probably an anomaly).

Even BAMA doesn't have the offensive skill players we have......as the HC, how do you not realize that they become irrelevant without a good OL?
