Records aside, quarterback and coach, what was the reasoning for McGarity calling Mark Richt into his office as soon as he arrived on campus.
Thanks Buc...and that's one thing that you and I have always agreed upon. Bringing McGarity back home to Athens was one of the best things to happen to our program in a while. Without McGarity I MAY not have the same amount of confidence in CMR. As a fan, I want our coach to have a "stick to your guns" mentality, BUT that mentality also needs a voice of reason and a guiding force to make sure things continue moving in a positive direction. McGarity's definitely that guy.

Ogre...I think the point AD5 is trying to make is that it was a TEAM loss...not a HEAD COACH loss. IF, we didn't have the picks we probably would've won. IF, the defense could've stopped them after we went up by 7 in the 4th quarter, we probably would've won. IF, Walsh wouldn't have pushed his kick, we probably would've won. Yes some questionable playcalls were made, yes some mistakes at the QB position were made, yes some mistakes on special teams were made, but putting the blame on one person and one person only is pretty near-sighted.

Ask any coach what they would do against an offense like MSU. They are running the ball to make them burn timeouts. Then, you get one sack and its ball game. Its really a no brainer.
Agree exactly, the offense contributed to 14pts. Only been saying that for an hour. Are you dumb enough to think that CMR or Bobo said, Hey Aaron, if you can scramble for a gain don't. Try to force it to TK while his back it turned. Or better yet, Hey Aaron, if that corner jumps the flat try to force it to the flat route anyway. We don't want to hit the vertical, we might score. I am sure that is what they were coaching him to do.
