Win or Lose - Our Head Coach and OC Suck.

I have said many times, I have ripped Bobo as much as the next man. However, scoring 24-30pts a game in the SEC is about as good as you are going to get. Bring in whomever you want. Gundy, Kiffin, Kelly who ever you want. They might have a year that they explode, but then they will got back to normal. Ask Malzahn. Lets' not look at the fact that Richt has been giving the same looks for 11 years, and still has an offense in the top 3 in the conference.

Scored 27 points against the No 5 defense in the country. Had a chance to legimately score another 10. If you just make the plays in front of you, and if we kick a FG at their 5. Could it have been prettier, sure, but give me my 30 and I am good. Regardless, I am willing to bet a Saban or Chavis defense does not let a team go 85 yds with no timeouts. Just willing to make that bet.

I am not even saying you have to bench AM, but you earn the right for the ball to be in your hands as a QB. After the 2nd half performance, I can't blame any OC for playing it safe. What is that 5 or 6 pick 6's this year.

Trust me ad5. I don't play video games or fantasy leaques..not today nor yesterday. Any time you want to debate football schemes let me know. Trust me there is a lot to be learned by watching games over and over and not going off what you see on TV 1 time or even at the game in person. I study UGA football not spectate.

Mark Richt is CEO/Head Coach whatever he wants to call himself. He is reponsible for the actions/decisions of his staff. His refusal to relieve/replace Bobo falls squarely on his shoulders. His refusal to have a special teams coach as well.

Sometimes it is not the 30 points. How many times did the offense put the defense in bad positions? how many turnovers led to opponents score ? How many 3 and outs led to the defense being on the field way to much. Sometimes the offense scored too fast, if you will, again putting the defense back on the field quickly. Many times it seems the offense is all or nothing. Don't get me wrong, points are good but if the other teams comes right back against a tired defense and scores there is no advantage. Sometimes sustained drives are good for the defense and the outcome of the game.

As for the ten wins this season.. UGA beat teams that won 52 and lost 62 games against FBS schools. Yea that is something to brag about. If that headline floats your boat so be it. It doesn't mine.

There is a long long list of other problems with Richts style and refusal to change, but they have been covered here many many times.

Mark Richt must change or UGA must make a change. I have been saying this for 2+ years on this board, not just after this 1 game.

Trying to recall in my mind when Saban first starting coaching Alabama. Seems the last play on their field was a pass to win the game. Not sure but seems to me it was us moving from our 20 to score. I could stand corrected here, will do some checking.

Yes, you are right about the 5 or 6 picks. What about the TD's. TD's probably don't count though, all we have to do is look at the competition. Any quarterback worth his salt could do that. Jon Gruden says AM is one of the best in the country, as a sophomore. I will take Gruden's thoughts on quarterback play versus what anyone on this board contributes.

I would love to hear what Jon Gruden would have to say after those 2 throws if he were AM's coach.

Who is responsible for the ball being placed in AM's hands in the first place? I mean
you've labeled Murray as a kid who is incapable of reading cover 2, the most base pass
D out there. I wonder who was responsible for us sticking with Walsh when we had another
kicker who was good enough that we gave him a scholarship.
