Wart, I didn't get a copy of the gameplan, I am guessing you did to determine OC was left out of it. I don't know, maybe just maybe, MSU realized he is probably our most dangerous WR. Maybe that was why they were hugging the hashes with both safeties. I wish they would have gotten the ball to OC, but I can't say that plays weren't designed to get the ball to him. Don't know, like I said I didn't get my copy of the game plan.
Not saying AM is terrible or any of that. He made a boneheaded play. End of story. Plays like that can cost your team a game. If a safety totally botches a coverage it can have the same effect. Those are called the difference makers. They are crucial when 2 good football teams are playing. They happen, I believe and hope he will learn from it, but I can't blame a coach for not turning him free when all you need is a FG.
To not using the other kicker, I don't know. I am not there to watch him kick in practice.
