No worries, I will no longer defend Richt the least. Not again. My posting days are done. There is not debating. This site wants him gone and nothing will ever change that. No sense in posting until he is gone. There are so many unrealistic expectations for an offense. Never a bad word about bama's offense. Oh yeah, and a quarter of their points are scored by their defense or ST. Unfair standards.

got news for you....this board is not about ALABAMA.......unrealistic......what is unrealistic about the offense playing 4 qtrs of Football and the coaching mentality to change from playing not to lose......kind of childish to take your ball and go home when you disagree with some here...

AD5......I'm waiting until the season plays out as well as you. Do want Bobo gone but if CMR can turn things around, all the better (new OC). I have commented to you before that "I get it" (your reasoning) and can see your thoughts and opinions for what you mean them for and nothing more. I like your objectivity. Don't give up posting, I for one enjoy your posts and reasoning....your an asset to the forum (and now since myself and one other are willing to see how things play out, and get a new OC, you're leaving us on an island....lol).

I respect everyone's opinion, and I read them all with an open mind. I can however just arrive
at a different conclusion.

I like people to defend Richt if they make valid points, but just saying we scored 33 points
doesn't cut it if many people... including such luminaries as Buck Belue point out we easily
should have put 45 on them. I beg someone to defend Richt on not even really trying for a 1st
down that would have enabled us to run the clock out. I want someone to defend Richt on being content to turn the game over to his D ON A NIGHT WHEN HIS D WASN'T DOING GREAT instead of just trying to get a 1st down. Thankfully CTG did come through, but it was still a bad call.

I want someone to defend Richt on being content to kick field goals.
I want someone to defend Richt on the decision to stick with WM.
I want someone to defend Richt on a play not to lose mentality.

I just want the specific complaints to be addressed, and not just see this defense amount to
"we've won 5 games against a FCS team, a 2-4 Ole Miss team, a 3-4 Miss State team, a 3-3
Tennessee team, and a 3-3 Vanderbilt team"

Defend Richt against the specific, valid complaints.

Oh and just FTR.. I too said I would want for Richt to turn it around. I said I would wait
until the end of the year to see how it all plays out. I said I'm willing to listen if
Richt gets rid of Bobo.

Here's the thing though... The season isn't over. It hasn't played out. It could end up
with us going 11-2. It could also end up with us only winning one more game. Who knows?

So I can only comment about how I feel today. As of today, I have seen nothing worthy of
making a defense of Richt. I want to wait until it all plays out before we make any critical
calls, but today.. this is where I stand.

It seems as if Franklin, said everything he does is calculated. If that is so, then him yelling at our player was calculated, and should be dealt with accordingly by the SEC, but I am not counting on that.
