AllDawgs5, this might be a good place to start. Copied from your last post.
I don't coach anymore and no my coaching style was not the same as Richt's. But my Dad taught me there is more than one way to skin a cat. He has his style. It is different than mine, but he is who he is.
What doesn't make sense. Need an example and I will be happy to explain
That is the main reason many folks have turned on the way this program has and is being run. Richt's way started to fray at the edges some years back and continued to erode to a season of 6-7. Some say enough talk about the 6-7 season, I say never when coupled with what I continue to see from the way the program is being run.
Whether we agree or choose to disagree, the young folks playing the game today are not of the same mind set that existed some years back.
There has been some chatter about IC partying the night before the game, can't verify yet, think that it will come out at some point. So Richt chose to have IC sit for a quarter. What I see is "another" player that threw sand in Richt's face. If that happened it just goes to show there is still a lack of respect for the coaching staff. Richt is the leader.
I respect what you say, have to ask this question. Did you never jump a player on the sidelines at any time when you coached? If so, I do find that amazing. Been around football for a spell and have watched many different coaches and teams and cannot honestly say that they adhered to the policy you mentioned above. It is becoming easier for me to understand your position, it appears to be the same position that Richt takes. That is not a slant at you, that is being truthful about what I read in some of your posts.
Who knows, maybe Richt will take us to the National Championship and win, keep us rated in the top ten year after year. While that might sound a bit chippy, look around at some of the coaches that border the State of Georgia . . . . it is possible, I think you would agree. Maybe it has to do with coaching, I don't know, I just question things that keep a ship from floating.
