Through four weeks, Georgia ranks 13th in the nation in yards allowed and second only to Alabama in the SEC

ogredawg notice that Richt has thrown a couple of kudos in the direction of Grantham the last couple of weeks. Not sure, but don't think that I saw Bobo on the sidelines in Mississippi. If that is the case, hope that Bobo stays away from the players. Last half of last season, Bobo had his fanny parked under Richt most of the game. Richt in his presser did pat the offense on the back, to be expected.

Watched the game again, parts of it, fast forward and such. Lee at offensive guard has an attitude. Not sure he is going to give that position up. Love it when the young men start to believe in themselves and team play. Hoping that Friend turns out to be that "Erk" on the other side of the ball. Having good vibes about Friend and Grantham, Lakatos . . . . . can't seem to kick the Bobo stuff to the curb. Probably me, will continue to watch the goings on.

Edit: The stats that you put up in your post mean a lot, especially when we look at Boise State and South Carolina. Says a lot to me anyway. :)

Bobo up in the booth.......why CMR has the headset on more.....I think he is taking a hand in calling or at least over ruling or advising Bobo on what to call.....notice how we went to the tight end more and more short passes......then CMR goes to sleep and the long ball starts again (Bobo crap) and we go away from the run.....even Andre Ware could not believe what we did on that series of downs....

ogredawg, had not read that article written by Seth. Usually I try and hit most of the talk about UGA.

Miss State I know has a good offensive line, big. That could work in our favor. I am still in awe of the speed that this group of defensive players is showing. No doubt Mullen is going to add a "twist or two", that is called coaching. Bobo can watch Mullen, he however will never be able to grasp what it is that he is seeing.

With the talent on the offensive side, agree with you about Richt maybe poking holes in Bobo's play calling. Richt is a Pro-Style coach, and what comes with that is knowing what to call and when to call it. Bobo missed that lesson.

Think about this . . . . would Matthew Stafford have signed on with UGA if Bobo had been the head coach, don't think so. Richt needs to open his ears, stop covering up for the Bobo's and WM's in his life and do what he does best.

Bobo wanted AM to stand in the pocket, not use what the good Lord gave him, and do it Bobo's way. Again, Richt protected his coach, even though his coach does not have a clue.

Sorry, could go on with this for hours, just want Richt or the next head coach to realize that there is and always has been an enormous amount of football talent within 5 hours of UGA. Grantham said that when he was first hired on. Bobo. . . . .protected by Richt. WM, protected by Richt.

AM, take that damn ball and rollout if necessary. Great wheels . . . . those that have been around long enough, or if not, that is the way that Fran the Man made millions. Vick is trying to do the same thing. AM HAS WHEELS, and a BRAIN. Bobo Gotta Go Go.

P.S. Don't use Carlton Thomas any more, just gets in the way. . . . .

Edit: P.P.S. Heaven forbid we use our tight ends. Just happens to be a part of UGA history. My God, what is going on with Richt/Bobo/Bucky?

I believe that Carlton could be a real asset if they used him in a formation where he sets up behind the line between the tackle and end on a delayed count and hit him 5-7 yards downfield with a full head of steam. It will work. Go DAWGS!!!!!!

growl, stanger mentioned that at least one time last year. He is around these football players and shoots straight. Appears that you folks are on the same page.

AM had the chance to hit Carlton Thomas out of the backield, not only out of the backfield, he was 10 yards downfield on the sideline with no one within a country mile of him.

Carlton Thomas is another of the frustrated players on this UGA team. One football, where is it going. A really good offensive coordinator . . . for example, Boise State and others of which I could name more, know what to do with their talent BASE. This group that calls themselves leaders on the O side . . . . you and I can be the judge of that.

If there was still a thing about tar and feathers, not a second thought in my mind to where it should be applied.

Hey Buc, first of all let me establish that I'm in total agreement about Bobo Gotta Go Go.

Gotta tell ya though......if I was the OC/CMR etc.......I would feel VERY limited in my play calling with the OL that we have. It isn't even an average SEC OL. If I'm AM, I've got my head on a swivel as soon as the ball is snapped. If we played against LSU or BAMA's DL, there would be times when their DL would be there when the ball was handed to IC.

Think about it for a second......you are NOT at liberty to run your whole playbook, there's just no time. Our OL is porous, inconsistent, can't hold a block, to many penalties and very thin. Friend has his work cut out for him and I'm afraid we are going to see just how average our OL is against UF (and maybe MSU). UF's DL is very good.
