Thats true, you cant use the whole playbook until you are able to buy time. There are two ways to buy time 1. physically beat them ,or 2. slow them down mentally. Since we cant do it right now physically we have to find plays that make the big dummies think real hard. I'm not a dreamer and know that it is going to take time and work, but, from what I've seen this year the kids are ready to do it. A little confidence can go a LONG way towards a real good season. Everybody here seems ready to go. Sic em Dawgs!!!!!!

Gotta tell ya though......if I was the OC/CMR etc.......I would feel VERY limited in my play calling with the OL that we have. It isn't even an average SEC OL. If I'm AM, I've got my head on a swivel as soon as the ball is snapped. If we played against LSU or BAMA's DL, there would be times when their DL would be there when the ball was handed to IC.

Think about it for a second......you are NOT at liberty to run your whole playbook, there's just no time. Our OL is porous, inconsistent, can't hold a block, to many penalties and very thin. Friend has his work cut out for him and I'm afraid we are going to see just how average our OL is against UF (and maybe MSU). UF's DL is very good.

Boise States DL is very good also..small but quick...of course they proved that to us...hate to see what big and quick (UF) does to our OL and AM......and Miss State game is no gimme.....they will come to Athens loaded for bear and Mullen will have them ready to play....

This is a game that someone has to explain to me as to why we don't win. If the talent is the same on both sides of the ball, and we are playing between the Hedges. At one time thought we had the best Special Teams in the country and the best kicking and punting game. We have more Red and Black in the stands and of couse fan noise. Not traveling, sleeping in our beds.

Ready for this one?

Where is Miss State better than we are?

Am I getting this right . . . . we are 7 point underdogs? Someone help me out. Got better numbers or what . . . .

Maybe it has to do with coaching?

Again, do I have the wrong numbers this early in the week on the point spread? HELP!!

If the spread is 7..the odds makers are begging you to
take Georgia. I hate to sound negative because I think
we can beat them, but it's not a good sign for a team when they beg people to take them.

According to Danny Sheridan's odds we are 7 point favorites.
