Buc, he won't quit.
It's not in his value system.
averagedawg, as much support as Richt has had from the UGA faithful, it amazes me there are some that continue to think that those of us who want new leadership, are being ugly. Who would run their company the way he has run the UGA football team the last few years.
Truthfully, he got away with a lot of not putting his nose to the grindstone with our previous AD. Even they did not agree on scheduling. Previous AD had other things on his mind. Sorry, between the two, Evans/Richt, not a lot was accomplished. One liked red panties and the other likes spending time in South America. New AD comes in and apparently there was not total agreement on the new schedule. McGarity had his way on that issue.
This is what I think averagedawg.
Richt knew that he had his hands full with Boise State before the game was played.
Played all of us, that is right, played us. Now he could concentrate solely on UGA/SEC football or so his story goes.
What we did not recognize were his goals with top 10 talent in recruiting for several years. He wanted to win the SEC East. For someone making the money he makes and that is his goal . . . . . not too much more has to be said for someone running a program that has been around since American Football basically started.
Folks that sit at the top of the ladder will not allow a decline in revenues. An eye on empty seats, sorry, there will be many. Not the fans and supporters of UGA causing this. It is the imcompetence of those that know "what the hell they are doing".
