UGA regrets scheduling BSU, thought Moore was gone

All I can say is, this is pretty freaking sad... making excuses before the game. There was a time when it didn't matter who the opponent was or who was playing quarterback for them. Every single Dawg on the planet knew who was going to win the game. Sad.

GATA! Woof!

I'm with you Buc. It will be settled on the field. But, after BSU beats UGA, I don't want to read about how BSU only had to get up for one game, or that it doesn't mean that much to us because we play such a tough schedule and BSU doesn't, or BSU used too many trick plays, or....whatever.

If we beat you, we beat you fair and square. If we lose, we lost fair and square. That's it.

There is no doubt the SEC is the baddest conf on the land. That's why we want to play you. And beat you. It (beating an SEC team) is next on our to do list. If we do, it will be a HUGE accomplishment, and any rationalizing by Dawg faithful will be weak sauce to my ears.

Hey seevee, keep in mind you aren't playing BAMA, we have been pretty good in the past but we did go 6-7 last year so don't go judging the SEC and getting so freakin excited if you manage to be us.

AND quite the contrary....if we beat you, how does it feel to have lost to a 6-7 SEC team?

Two points--the first--you'll hear it(not just form our fans), so get used to it, because it's a fact. It affects game planning and season goals. Not an excuse, I'm sure both teams will be prepared, and going 100%, but there's a subtle difference when you play South Carolina the next week or Toledo.
Second--we beat SEC teams every year--even our subpar years!!

I would argue that it's more of a risk for Georgia to play Boise than vice versa.
We play a tough schedule year in and year out.
Boise may play any team any where but they don't play in the SEC. They can't play that tough a schedule if they wanted to.
This one game will make or break any chances for Boise to play in a BCS game.
They have ever thing to gain.
We will be discounted, win or lose.
The only plus is a quality win and motivation for the Gamecocks, where it all begins.
GO DAWGS!!!!

averagedawg, have taken a look at one of the blogs for Boise State. Interesting. Actually it is heads up on their part.

They are talking about "Tree", Boykin, kicking game big D linemen. They also mention Jones playing linebacker.

From what I gather, the bloggers think that they win the game in Atlanta by a comfortable margin.

They are in for a huge surprise with the number 11 on the Red and Black side. He is going to earn the Nation's respect after this game. AM has the tools to work with this year, not a bunch of "what about me guys".

IC will be spied the whole game, another huge surprise is going to be that 6'2" 240 pound young fellow playing helmet to helmet football with them. Erk would be proud. I am like OSD, want to see us pounding the rock. Two good teams, let's get it on . . . . :woohoo: :)

P.S. After we finish our work in Atlanta, rather than feel sorry for Boise State, kind of like them (after Atlanta) will pull for them, even though TCU will hand it to them this year. 10-2, not a bad season for a team that was rated at the beginning as #5 or #6 in the nation. We at UGA know how those ratings can bite you in the butt. :)
