You are going to have to take a number if you want one of our coaches. Tennessee got our D coordinator and Texas got our O coordinator. Maybe in a couple of years you can have one of our assisstant coaches if you are lucky. Y'all don't sound too pleased with your present head coach. I doubt you'll feel any better about him on Sept. 4th.

There was a poll taken in the last month of 11 HC's and 44 assistant coaches around the country. They were asked in their opinion, who was the best HC in college football. They voted #1 Gary Patterson and #2 Saban.

Patterson is THE real deal, plays SHUT DOWN D and doesn't make mistakes. Recipe for a SEC coach.

I realize it's a poll but just sayin'.........

If he has any profound ambitions, he will jump at an elite SEC job. It's one thing to play a couple of tough games each year. It's another to be on the front line every week.

That's very true......people said that about UM too when he was hired at UF. Believe Patterson is a very smart coach, he may even be BETTER in the SEC with the athletes he will get in his program.

Do you have a link for that poll? I would put Petersen ahead of Patterson because: 1) I'm biased, 2) Pete has done more with less. TCU football has three times BSU's budget, and sits in a talent rich state, 3) TCU was outcoached in our last meeting.

Would love to see Boise State in the SEC. Far fetched, don't think so. If Boise State is the real deal, give them a spot if it is a 16 team giddy-up go and let's see whether it is the East or the West side of the SEC.

Anyone on this board that played football or not, knows that any team can get up for a game. When you have 3 or 4 teams from either the East or West side of the SEC, it is a damn war. I dare anyone from the other conference to challenge that. And by the way, back it up with FACT.

We don't need to talk about teams played by both schools in the past. Put everyone that thinks they are the best in a conference that will make you hurt, not feel good, allow nothing every Saturday.

UCF came after us, lesser conference, folks that is coaching, not player skills.

Strap it on UGA, Boise State, let us see if it is players or coaches.

Calling you out on the FACTS seevee. Not being ugly, have watched the posts, let us talk. :)
