I would put BSU at #2.
(think we will beat them though because of talent and many "intangibles")

Been wondering when a Boise fan would show up. Best of luck to you guys on the third...don't be surprised when your boys have some RED on their uniforms from all the hard hits we'll be delivering.
May the best team(UGA)win, welcome to the site seevee. I hope you will find us enjoyable and return for great football conversations. This is the best dawg forum on the net and is full of DIE-HARD dawgs.

Very gracious greeting B2baDawg. I nervously look forward to the game. I remember only too well the ....debacle....in our last trip between the hedges (thankful for the "neutral" field this time). I don't expect Kellen to freak out like Z did. Z's game was the worst single performance by a college football player I have ever seen. Coming in secong would be Brotzman against Nevada. Maybe it's a "z" thing.
Although there is a reputation about BSU fans being too boastful and unrealistic in their ranking of the Broncos' achievements, the fans that I know are not like that. I am just thrilled with the growth of the program and shake my head when we are even in the conversation about competing in major bowls, much less the championship. I went to school at BSU not long after it had become a university (as opposed to a college), so all this has happened very fast. I think that explains some of the hyperbole from our fans; they are new to the game and haven't had much pain along the way. You see, Boise is spoiled by the Broncos' success. We won a national championship at the Jr. College and Division 1AA level, and so the expectaions are that, why not win at this level? I know better, and as I say, I'm not expecting anything, and am just enjoying the ride while it lasts.
Good luck on coming in second on the third.

seevee, you'll find that everyone on this board is first and foremost a UGA DAWGS fan. But we are also college football fans (and many hate what seems to be going on all over the sport these days - Ohio State, Miami - even Boise State, no offense intended). I think a lot of us wish for a return to the days when the sport at least SEEMED more pure and true with the players and coaches representing their SCHOOLS, instead of THEMSELVES.
We are also SPORTSMEN. I see that Boise State has an initiative going on right now to promote SPORTSMANSHIP. I (and I'm sure most/all of the others on this forum) like to see that. Hopefully that will catch on all over sports. Welcome to the forum.
So while you are here, pull for your team, razz us all you want . . . it'll certainly make for some fun. Then on Sept. 4th you can do what Hawaii fans did after that game - lick your wounds. I genuinely believe you are going to have deja vu all over again!
GO DAWGS! Sic-em! GATA!
