UGA regrets scheduling BSU, thought Moore was gone

I think lumping BSU's football infractions with the U or Ohio State is like comparing a speeding ticket to grand theft auto.

"The university's 1,500-page response to the NCAA details a series of "secondary" violations by football staff during a four-year period. During that time, coaches arranged for incoming players to get cheap transportation, meals and housing during voluntary summer workouts. The report states 63 prospective players received those benefits, valued at less than $5,000."

I'm not saying we did nothing wrong, it's just a matter of scale.

As for comparing BSU to Hawaii, not even close. Hawaii was way top heavy on passing.(5713 pass/1234 rush yards). Georgia's D line disregarded the run and went after Brennan and...well, we remember that don't we.

BSU has much better balance (4174 pass/2603 rush yards last year), a much better O line, and Doug F Martin (who you will not forget).

As much as I'd love to see it live, I will be ensconced in front of my teevee.

I see UGA as more like OK, and we should have won that one going away had it not been for a bad bounce and a bad throw (by your favorite BSU QB, Jerad-I need an IV- Zabransky).
