For all my realism. I cannot help myself. I too feel this could be a great year. Historically, this is nothing new. I drink the same koolaid every August.Hmmm. I think Boise is in a tough situation, and they may suffer the same way we did when we started out ranked number one. They HAVE to step up, HAVE to play well. I'm still not convinced that they play a consistently high calibre talent to deserve their ranking, but that's a whole different thread. This is going to be a tough game, but I think they underestimate us and we sneak a win in. I can't put my finger on the why of this, but we've got some guys stepping up, and we're deeper at skill positions than we get credit for. Something feels different about this season...

Leghumber, good analogy. LimeyDawg, I agree, but I won't call it "sneaking" a win in. I think we'll pound them. They are coming into a dog fight (pardon the pun) fighting a wounded animal. I think UGAs pride is hurting REAL BAD and we are in need of a cleansing. I think we get it against Boise State. Richt isn't the only one looking for redemption. You're going to see a bunch of big, fast, hungry ball players on our side of the line, out to prove that THEY haven't lost it - that THEY are athletes. This isn't just Richt's chance to salvage something . . . about 75 other guys have something to prove too.
South Carolina may be a different story . . .
