Hey Buc your right on as usual, I agree Dooley didnt know how to throw, bobo cant figure when to run the ball. And we also agree its won in the trenches, and for the life of me I cant figure why we dont have a better O line. I mean we are UGA for goodness sakes we should have um lined up around the corner. As many Corn Fed younguns as there are in this state it should never be a problem, but yet it is. But with that said I really think if our O line cant open holes against BS then there is no way they can against SC or the other Big SEC schools thats why I think we must run and find out what we can do against BS. we are gonna need some turnovers to beat SC IMO and running the ball. anyway I hope for the best, I hope we somehow win them all, I just get frustrated with what I see. Its not Rocket science. Def wins Championships with strong running and ofcourse the BIGGUNS. GO DAWGSSSS!!!!!

Well I wasn't going to write any more, cause so many on here are so hopeful that this will be the year. I read the same things last year on how we would suprise everyone and win the east.

I have read the posts everyday, and I just can't read this post without someone telling me why I sould be so excited about this team. Buc and OSD seem to have the same mind set as I do, talk is cheap and last time I checked does not win games. I hear all the bull about the weight room and who has seen the proof. What has changed about this group of players from last year. We still have the same old what can I do to get my players motivated. We still have an OC, That the B team defense could guess what play was coming. I guess there is a little hope for the D, the is TG 2nd year.

If anyone on this board thinks that this will not be another 5/7 or 6/6 year, then you will be disappointed. We willlose to BS by 21, KM will torch our lazy secondary, then the next week, Garcia, lattimore, and jeffery will destroy us and SC will beat us the worst of any time in our history, 44 to 10.

We have nothing to look forward to until CMR and BOBO are gone, so some of ya'll need to get a grip and get prepared for another disappointing season.

Oh by the way, for the new ones on this site, I am not some imposter, I am more of a Dawg fan than most, I am just tired of the excusses, I am tired of the 3 year decline, and I am very tired of CMR and Bobo. I hope will all my heart that I am wrong, but as I have said before, I look at the facts, and not through those rose colored glasses.

duck, mean this. Good to see you back. There has been a change on this board, and I think that it serves all of us well. You have been constant for a long time, this is the year that it turns around or, there will be a lot of separation on this board and others.

Bobo . . . . Richt's man. What was or is that phrase . . . . Last man standing . . . . Same mistakes made over and over. Nothing else to say.

Thanks Buc, I am here everyday, I just could not resist the need to write. It just blows my mind how I have heard some sports writers pick us to win the east. They talk about the pressure on CMR and with the recruitng class, we will turn things around. Our coaches do not know how to use our talent, look and all the NFL players we produce and what , no SEC or National titles. With the decline over the past 3 years, how someone can pick us to win the east or to even be in the top 40 beats me. You have always been fair and give me credit when it is due and defend me when others call me a negitive person. I just want to see results and stop all the talk and what we are going to do. You know, a new attitude is good I guess, as long as they act on it and bring it to the playing field.

I cannot go into a season without expecting to win them all. To me it would pointless otherwise.

I played basketball tonight. Every time I shoot I expect the ball to go in. That is just how I am wired. Of course it only went in about 60-70% of the time (I had a good night and won much).

I hope for an undefeated season every year. Is that realistic? Of course not. Like Lombardi said:

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”

I'm like kentdaddy. If I go into a season expecting to lose a game, I lose interest pretty fast. That doesn't mean we'll "probably win the NC", but each individual game is winnable, unless we start playing pro teams.

Boise State is a good team, but compared to what? They beat Virginia Tech last year, so they can compete. (VT should have won that game.) But the rest of their schedule makes it very difficult to evaluate how good they really are. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those guys who says "they played a weak schedule, therefore they suck". But they would be a lot easier to evaluate if they had played 4 or 5 games against more "mainstream teams". It doesn't even have to be LSU, Alabama or Auburn. We would know a lot more if they had even played Miss. State, Kentucky or Florida (last year's Florida). Looking at the teams they played, their schedule wasn't exactly "Murderer's Row". I'm not as pessimistic about the Boise State game as most after having really gone through and taken a CLOSE look at their "near perfect" season.

So I cling to my hope of the undefeated season, just like kd. And just like kd, I know it's unlikely - in the 40 seasons that my little brain can still remember, we only did it once.
