There goes Bray.
And who do we blame for the "circling of the drain" feeling?

I read where Rome contemplated announcing at the game last night, but then at the last minute said there wasn't time. I'm guessing he wanted to see where others committed before he made his decision, sooooo....

UGA passes on Witchett:

“[Ball] said they were going to revoke the offer,” Pritchett said. “They said Georgia couldn’t take a chance on a guy that they didn’t know whether or not he could stay out of trouble and contribute to the team next year.”

Witchett was suspended three games during his senior season for violating undisclosed team rules, according to his coach. Georgia was made aware of the situation at the time and waited until less than a month before signing day to revoke the offer.

They actually did that yesterday, and if the kid is a discipline case and they don't want to take that chance, so be it. Just seems with the timing that maybe they were wanting to free up a scholarship and were counting on a couple of commitments last night...

Traded 1 WR for another - from AJC

Witchett’s loss left the Bulldogs with 15 commitments less than a month away from national signing day. But it won’t likely be very long before they’re back to 16.

That’s because Georgia wide receivers coach Tony Ball is supposed to be down in Leesburg today. There, Lee County wide receiver Sanford Seay is expected to accept the scholarship offer he received from the Bulldogs just this past weekend.

“It came as a surprise,” Seay said of the UGA offer. “I mean, I knew there was a chance it could come but I just didn’t know when.”

Seay (6-2, 190) was named Class AAAA all-state after logging 68 receptions and 1,105 yards and 15 touchdowns this past season.
