Forget trying to figure it out

I'm not going to read 100 posts this week about what's wrong etc etc......coaching?.......OL?.........can't tackle? etc etc etc!!!!!!!!


I said it two weeks ago, I believe it more now than then and I believe I'm right!!

AJ Green singlehandedly lost the East for UGA. A player like AJ CAN have an impact on just about every phase of the game.............

1. Obviously he will make BIG plays and account for several TD's.....that's easy to say
2. AJ makes all the other WR's much better because he's being double covered ALL day and the D has to know where he is at all times

3. AJ's presence on the field makes our RUNNING game much better as well

4. AND.......AND folks.......AJ makes our D so much better. He keeps drives going and keeps our D OFF THE FREAKING FIELD.........AND......AND folks......it keeps the other teams offense OFF THE FREAKING FIELD......therefore we WIN the time of possession which is critical for OUR......OUR offense.

In COLLEGE ball, a superstar like an AJ Green can be an ONLY reason to lose. He'll come back.....we'll roll.......TO LITTLE TO LATE.......done.

I will not post or read any more posts about how to remedy this team........I'm convinced that AJ Green has cost us the East title, hands down.

You may very well be right, but poor coaching is not excused by poor decision making from a kid.

Absurd, wlayton. Green is definitely a difference maker, no argument there. But he played in all of our losses last year, except maybe UK. And I believe he was out for the GT win (if he played, I don't believe he was a factor). Green's absence has definitely hurt the TEAM, but coaches need to prepare for these contingincies, and the TEAM needs to step up. Big player or not, if AJ is the only reason we've lost these two games, then we aren't ready for SEC play.

I agree Green is a huge factor and I can see having him on the field gets us at least one of the two SEC wins if not both.

Green is the best player on the field.

Well, if AJ is the only reason we win games, then next year will be dismal when he goes pro.

AJ did not cost us the east. Could he have helped our D tackle a freshman last week. Maybe he could change that 3rd down play that our brilliant OC called. Better yet maybe he could have worn a black jersey the past two weeks. Or maybe he could have covered their receiver on third and one when he was 30 yards past the closest defender. No, our problems are much deeper. No I don't have the answer or know what coach could do a better job. I just know its broken and I don't believe CMR can fix it. At least not without those black helmets!
