Great Article on Homeschooled Timmy

No way I am reading all this, but I will comment anyway.

1. Tebow is nowhere near the greatest college football player ever. He isn't even the greatest UF QB. Wuerffel won 4 SEC titles. Leak and Tebow one one each as starters. All three one one nation title each. Tebow is far behind other running style QBs like Vince Young and Tommie Frazier as well.

2. As far as crying that is pretty weak. Once is forgivable, but the kids cries all the time now. He needs to grow up a bit.

Just finished watching the UF/UA in the SEC championship game again . . . . 4th time. SUN Sports is my local provider.

Reminded me of UGA/UT games in the recent past. UF flat gave up, got their butts whipped. Tebow showed little or no emotion, except for the sideline exibition of look at me. Best football player ever, don't go there.

You own a pro football team, you have a first round draft choice . . . . don't need to hear that you draft for position . . . . you want Tebow or maybe a couple of defensive linemen that are available. Know where I would draft if I am spending the bucks.

If you are going to draft a QB . . . . will it be Tebow in the first round . . .

He fits in the NFL, but it is with a team like the Miami Dolphins at this point. Bill Parcells could take this young man and make him a player in the NFL, but not in the system that most NFL teams run.

First time Tebow tries to lay one of his fist shaking, locker room rallying calls on his team
mates in the NFL, he will learn the same lesson that Saban and others have learned when going from college to pro. It is all about the money. We have contracts, don't need the noise.

They get paid in the league, more than free shoes and pretty girls. Does not matter when you have the cash for stash and once in the NFL they get both.

Tebow will go to the NFL, Jon Gruden said he will be a QB. I lived through Jon Gruden and the way he coached the Tampa franchise, that is why he is on Monday Night Football . . . he took a team that had the parts to win a ring, after that he was lost. Question me on this, I have answers.

We have a coach at UGA that needs help . . . . badly. Don't believe that . . . many on this board are hoping we can get a solid defensive coach in Athens. Will that happen, don't know, tell me. . . . I am beginning to think that maybe we BURNED SOME BRIDGES, and we lost some folks that have gone on to bigger and better things. Both are in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Just a thought or two.

Forget the system, Buc. Tebow is going to go into the NFL with a HUGE target on his back. Defensive players aren't going to be able to WAIT to hit him and lay him out. \"How's that, crybaby,\" etc. They're not going to care about his love of Christ, they're not going to care about his passion for winning, they're not going to care about the motivation behind him crying. They're going to look to hurt him. And I'm talking about the teammates who hit him in summer camp. Forget about him getting onto a real NFL field.

If he's smart -- and if he's truly devoted to his cause -- he should quit football now and go directly into missionary work. Especially considering the concussion and other injuries he's already sustained. If he knows what's good for him...yeah. No NFL for you, Timmy. Take care of yourself. Because there are ALREADY bounties out on you.

We have a governor in Florida that has \"suggested\" to the JAX franchise the upside of drafting Tebow. What that says to me is this . . . . Revenue for the state, using Tebow as the side show. Don't think that I need a politician that seems to be a bit light in the loafers telling or even suggesting how the JAX franchise should be ran.

Can't disagree with you on the target aspect in the NFL dapolla. He will not be facing a WM type of defense if he chooses to make the leap. Concussions are very real and frightening and at the NFL pace the game is played . . . . look at this year in the league and the number of head injuries, scary. You are probably right in saying he should move on to his calling, and as a believer, I would be on Tebow's side for sure.

Disagree with the bounties by his own teammates. QB's rarely get hit in camp, especially if he goes in the first round. No way an owner is going to be OK with his multi-million dollar asset getting beat up in training camps. Not saying Tebow will be a pro bowler by any means. Wouldn't be surprised if the guy ever starts a game in his career. But let's face it, the guy is going to make BANK for a couple of years anyway.

Not sure about the rest of us, but I would be fine receiving a nice signing bonus, getting paid a couple of mill a year, and then retiring.
