Here's a great Yahoo! Sports article on Tim Tebow's legacy of utter and complete failure:

 Did you even read it? It states that he only failed to be known as \"the greatest player of all time\". But he will be regarded as one of them. I have no doubt. The article states, and I agree, that even if they were to finish 2nd in the polls this year, the year would be considered a failure.
To quote the article that you mis understood, \"Ah, yes: About those \"all time\" superlatives. Most decorated? Yes. Most competitive? Probably. Most respected? Arguably. Most popular? Clearly.
But greatest? That was what was on the line this season: Greatest College Football Player of All Time.
However, there was a single condition: Win the national championship. As I said here last week: Anything less than a championship would -- and should -- be considered a failure for Tebow, for Urban Meyer and for the team.\"

I think, it was an easy choice for tebow, He knew last yr that if he goes pro, He will not be that good in the NFL, So he has more to gain by staying where he is at. No one was knocking at his door offering 75mil. And they wont be this yr either, He is a very good for Fla. My problem with him is dont break down and cry like ah baby in front of all those kids an people who look up to you, suck it up!!! Cry behind closed doors if you must!! You have a charmed life and lots to be thankful for dont act like a spoiled kid who lost the neighborhood game and take your ball home crying like ah punk kid!! Be a man and take it like a man look how many games you just won in a row and be thankful for that, cause even if you won that game your still not going to be a good NFL Q.B. Get over yourself Tebow!! ITs not all about you!!!

I have heard a lot of Tebow hating going on for the last couple of years. I truly hate the fact that he is a Gator. However, I bet there were a lot of Herschel haters back in the 80's. I refuse to hate this young man. He is everything that a college student athlete should be. He has lived his life and is a good wholesome role model. I choose to view his crying as him being sad that the ride is over. As far as him manning up. Tim Tebow is all man. He will be successful in everything he does in life. I truly admire this young man. I will not lie though. I am truly happy knowing that he will not be playing for the Gators anymore. I know that this is a DAWG site, but this young man deserves respect. You guys are welcome to abuse me, but Tebow is a first class act.

I hear all the Tebow hate also and I don't much care for the guy either but...I have to admit that I'm sure he is a stand up guy and if he went anywhere other than UF I probably wouldn't mind sitting down with him and having a beer.
Go Dawgs!!!!
