Great Article on Homeschooled Timmy

Couldn't help but throw in my two cents. I am a Georgia fan to the bone who lives just outside of Gainesville, FL. I must admit that I am sick of FL and was glad to see Alabama win, but that's probably because I live so deep in enemy territory. I said that so that I could say that I have met Tim Tebow. I work at a prison and he has come several times to speak to the inmates. He is very humble and I must say a good motivator. He is the kind of person you hope your own children can be like. And I don't mean athletic. I mean a good christian who every time I have heard him speak puts god and his family first and football second. I don't see the crying as wimpy. I see it as a person full of emotion. I would like to see someone tell the great players of football who have shed a tear of joy or sorrow at the end of an emotional game they are wimps to their face. They might have a change of mind when they get slapped down by a cry baby. Go DAWGS.

I guess that is a matter of opinon, you have yours I have mine, I simply would expect the leader of my team or the guy covering my back in the zone to keep his emotions in check until everything is over and clear. We can agree to disagree nothing personal you are a gator I am ah DAWG your on a DAWG site what do you really expect when you come here. Its my opinon i respect yours. thats fine. If florida had lost to us the last 8 of 10 I doubt you would be here, And I get That I am not stupid. It is what it is We still lead the series and always will. Now that string is gone and CWM is gone things should right themselves. Every program has its ups and downs. UGA made a huge mistake when they let BVG walk away or we would have already had another NC. If they are smart they will get K Smart and we will be on top again. But I have no real problem with you or tebow just think he should suck it up and one day when he grows up he will look back at this when he has children and wish he didnt cry on natl T.V. is all Im sayin!!

and sbr 1969 you dont have to cry to be ah christian, CMR holds his own and is a great christian, It is a matter of self control, and being a man, there is a time to fight and ah time to cry. Tebow didnt win these games by himself, in case you didnt know football is a team sport. and you are not just representing yourself, but your team and your whole school when your on t.v. thats why I say be man enough to control your crying until u get off the field. I guess in these days of political correctness we are now giving up our man hood too. I dont remember players in the past crying I guess its the new thing now a days to act like women!! its ok. LOL!! To much oprah an Dr. Phil I guess, Different generations I guess, I just dont remember the players I looked up to Crying!! lol

OSD I agree we can disagree. But when did crying make you look like a woman. My dad is a WWII vet and I have seen him cry on several occasions. Not over anything major, just things that he took very personal. It has nothing to do with generations.

My point is in public on t.v. in front of your fans and kids who look up to you, at home is fine, in private fine with me its opinon. I am just saying its a game tebow cry if you want in front of your friends and family , but you are representing in front of the nation for a short period of time just hold it together a little longer. thats all im saying, be strong, losing a game isnt the end to all. I know it hurts but that should make you tougher. thats all Im saying. I just dont want young boys seeing that and thinkin its acceptable to break down over a game. that simple!!
