Oh, you guys will love this one--I guess TT has hired Florida's Governor as his agent now.
This from ajc.com:
Florida governor urges Jaguars to draft Tebow
TALLAHASSEE — Florida Gov. Charlie Crist thinks Tim Tebow could be the answer to the Jacksonville Jaguars attendance problems. Crist said Monday that he’s talked with the Jaguars ownership about taking the celebrated Florida quarterback in the NFL Draft next April as a means to sell more season tickets and keep the team from moving out of Jacksonville.
About 17,000 fans chose not to renew their season tickets this year, many citing the economic climate. About 30,000 seats were empty Sunday for Jacksonville’s 23-18 victory over Houston.
Tebow, who grew up in Jacksonville, won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led the Gators to a national championship last year. He is a finalist for this year's Heisman Trophy
Really?????? Wow.

Unfortunately we can only imagine what that speech would be called now. Because TT backed up what he said. He had 8 TDs in those two particular games. I dont think I want a player that accepts losing. When that is an option in the players mind, then eventually that becomes an accepted outcome. Granted you will win and you will lose, but embracing losing is something I never want the leader of my team doing.

Yeah sadler, besides Gov. Crist, there's been that talk for months now on the sports radio shows. All the gator fans are calling in saying that it is brilliant and will solve their attendance pronlem.
I love this local radio show....Pete Prisco Show....Pete totally blasts all the people who call in saying the Jags should draft him for that reason alone. He says they shouldn't EVER consider drafting him at all. \"What, stand on the sidelines holding a clip board?\" says Pete. He's hilarious when talking about that subject. Pete is a NFL guy and VERY, VERY knowledgable about the NFL, the owners, the players and how things work in the NFL (he travels constantly visiting camps, owners, GM's etc etc). He thinks TT has a ton of work to do to make it in the NFL as a QB. He thinks he's a 4th round pick at best because of the amount of work and developement that is going to be involved by whatever team drafts him.
Yeah, Pete thinks the Jax people are crazy on that subject.

Why dont they just change the team name to the Jacksonville Tebows, or at the very least they will sell a ton of tebow jerseys even if he dosent play well enough, The falcons sold a ton of vick jerseys before he even took a snap here, and alot of fans here in atl still buy his jersey. even though he is an idiot. LOL It would be ah good money maker for them if nothing else.
