Who would make a good DC?

wlayton, surprising to me that FSU has let a lot of coaching talent leave their campus. Coach Bowden has had some of his hiring decisions come back to bite him in the bottom. He held on to his son much too long and he was almost shoved out of the door.

Now Coach Andrews is leaving at the end of the year, and one can bet that the new regime that has been in place for some time now will have their hands full. Look back over the record what the FSU defense did when they had talent. Coach Richt and Coach Andrews running the show collectively.

Some might disagree, but I would take MA in a heart beat. Too old some might say, well what about Monte, not a spring chicken. Andrews has been on the back burner now for much too long, man understands defense. He is big time on man coverage and with that I am totally sold. Check out the DB's that he has sent to the NFL . . . mind boggling. Coach Andrews is like Monte, won't leave football until he has no breath left in his body. Not real bad with the likes of Derrick Brooks and others. Brad and Andrews in my opinion are the other two-thirds.

Hmmmmm......interesting. I though MA was tired and ready spend more time with the family. He's had a tough year. Great DC though!!....like your ideas!!

wlayton, some of my friends down this way, FSU grads, long time football fans seem to think that CMA is fed up with the whole thing at FSU. He used to have a larger footprint in picking many of the recruits. One only has to look at the turmoil that has arisen since BB named a coach to replace him. I would take CMA if he only coached the DB's and safeties. He has forgotten more than WM will ever find out. Florida, South Florida and Miami are biting into what used to be Andrews choice of players. CMA would turn UGA's defense around like Saban and Monte have done at their schools. Coach Richt took half of Tallahassee with him when he moved, (friends and such) just needs two more that played and coached there and we are fine. Think of the added recruiting power that UGA would have.

Hey yall, I want BVG, but dont think that will happen, So I think we must get KS, I had rather have some one young and on the way up than old, As far as Kiffin goes like I said before he is great but old and you never know when he has to hang it up, And when that happens they are screwed. So I say go with an up an coming DC rather than old.
