Im sure Ala had better players on that day, just sayin utah out coached NS and they didnt UM to do it. And even though this isnt the Dawgs yr I still would rather have CMR than the others,I believe he is more true to his players an UGA than the other coaches, they are more about themselves and how they look and money they make, would not be surprised to see either of them leave anytime a better job comes along. And like I said this is my Opinion. Im not here to please the Gator nation or any one else for that matter, So we can agree to disagree I guess. Have a good game day! GOOO DAWGSSS!!!

GatorStrong I appreciate your answer. Like I said I don't mind your comments I have just always been curios. As far as which head coach would you rather have. That is not really the ?. I would take CMR with any of those other coaches assistants. However, I get your point. No one else would have tolerated our assistants this long. I say assistants plural, because I think CMB is as bad as CWM. I would rather have CMR, so I guess I need to quit complaining and keep on dreaming. The one thing that I admire most about CMR is the fact that he seems to care about an individuals future more than making himself look good.

Rather than start a new thread, thought I would pass this along. It proved to be some good Sunday night reading, looking for some Dawg talk prior to Jacksonville. Maybe some have read this, if not, it weaves its way into the overall talk of where the Dawgs are coaching wise. Hope you find this as interesting as I did. Feel sure some will have some comments after reading the article.

Buc, this was a good read and the authors make good points. I kind of agree with them in the fact that UGA can finish strong. Anytime we can beat a rival is very exciting. However, that 07 win over UF was not really that big of a game after UT handed us our rears in Knoxville. We are really in the same situation this year. I said all year that UT would beat someone in the SEC that they were not supposed to. I still fill with all my heart that UGA will beat UF. I don't know why? I have just had that feeling all year. This team has to much talent to not beat someone. The sad thing about it is that we can still beat three top notch teams and big rivals for us and we still couldn't get it done when we needed to. We can be competitive and put some good runs together, but that is about all this coaching staff can do without some key changes. I realize that we play in the SEC and every year is tough. I just worry that these top recruits may start to see what we have been seeing. Both of our coordinators may be good one day. They may have just gotten a little to comfortable and need to experience some new scenery. Who knows? The only thing I do know is that this past Saturday was very boring without the DAWG's. I am ready for UF! GO DAWG'S!!!!!!

sadlerdawg, the way the reporter led into the article bothered me a bit also. Talk of how good/much Coach Richt has been for the program. Not disagreeing to the point of fisticuffs, just want some answers on the hiring and promotion practices that he has employed to this point.

One cannot talk or grade the team without asking the all important question . . . what about the coaching staff. That truly has not been answered to this point by CMR, and he is the last link in the chain of coaches. PLAYERS PLAY when COACHES COACH! Agree with you totally on the F-, and that is for the TEAM of COACHES.
