Dawgs and gators

Georgia 14 point favorite.

Call it like I see it.

Florida has been nothing short of a mess both on and off the field. Little doubt that some gators showing their butts have changed the complexion of the game in JAX considerably. Difference between the current coach and a prior coach (urban meyer) is allowing certain patterns of behavior not to matter come game day. FACT.

My opinion . . . . This is a game that our offensive line has to perform at a “consistent” level. The gators strongest suit is their defensive front seven. Florida will do some things defensively that will not and have not shown up on film prior to JAX.

This game could very well be the “coming out party” for our tight ends, both defending and being more involved in pass patterns. The gators are open to tight ends being their downfall.

Much will be said and written this week, maybe more than any week prior and possibly the entire 2017 Season.

From where I sit, believe this group of Georgia players and (coaches) will enter JAX with “butterflies” in their bellies. To me that was always a good sign. Getting knocked on ones butt quickly seems to keep ones attention on the business at hand.

Georgia/Florida, national television, there will be more eyes on this game than possibly any game that I can recall. Being undefeated and ranked highly, this group of Georgia players will be watched and “graded” by the way the game is played and “ends”. There will be a lot of chatter about the winning and losing head coaches of this game both before and after JAX. Win by one suits me.

Kirby made it a point to get everyone's attention when it came to practice and play. Was really "Eagle Eyed" when it came to tight ends blocking, with a purpose. Do not need to call names, everyone knows and my bet is we see what Kirby wanted this Saturday at 3:30 on CBS. gators are quick on the defensive line, these are the times for tight ends that block.

End of this video has the words Beat Missouri, can be applied/changed to "Beat Florida".

Say again, 14 point spread means nothing to me, one point and a win sits well with me.

Chief, this is the time of year that really gets my full attention. gator game is different, especially after SS became the gator head coach. Living in Florida, can say this . . . . have never, ever seen such concern from the gator fans. Don't seem to be "chirping" as loud as usual. That will come a bit later in the week, expected. No reason to enter JAX and not feel comfortable with our talent and abilities that have shown themselves through the first part of 2017. Another game where Special Team play will probably play a huge factor in the outcome.
