This sums up my feelings nicely. I ALWAYS want to beat the Gay-Tors, but even if that happens this year (VERY, VERY unlikely), I'll just go back to only the most casual interest in the rest of this year. The season is ruined.

Just heard on the radio this morning that whoever wins this game is going to Atlanta in December for sure.

That's all true, but it's not going to change my view of Mark Richt one little bit.

His supporters will scream "vindication!" regarding their support as if one victory
negates every unforgivable defeat over the past decade.

The AJC and the interwebs will be overflowing with stories of how their patience proves the detractors wrong, yet we will sit here next season having the same discussion again.
