"Hell Donnan got fired for losses to Florida, auburn, and tech..... Just saying."
Poor Donnan... had he just done like Richt and lost 2 games at the beginning or the middle of the season instead of bunching them all up at the end, he may have coached here for 20 years.

Fully expect to see the defensive box loaded.
If I am coaching, for sure I am going to make Lambert throw the football. Understand, as the offensive coaches have told us time and again that Lambert has an arm. That is not an effective weapon until it is dialed in.
If the gators can keep the passes in front of the defensive backs, behind the linebackers, there will be interceptions. It is understood that Lambert looks his primary receiver down.
Worry about Pruitt playing too much cover two. That really opens the game up for Treon Harris.
wlayton, good point on the turnovers. Know that we are on the plus side, however I also look at the overall competition we have played against.
McElwain vs Richt. Opening act.

No way on God's green Earth does Richt go to Miami.
He will never leave this situation where he is given everything to be a top 5 National program but only expected to perform like a middle of the pack ACC school.
Down there they would actually expect him to perform up to the level that
matches the tools at his disposal.

36869 made a good post. Miami job is open. Richt played (sat on the bench) there and lived in Boca Raton.
Problem with Richt to Miami, they are trying to change the past. Richt in Miami would not produce results.

Although reason precludes confidence, maybe this team has some heart.
Now is the time to show it.
We have underperformed.

Alabama came in here and played "Grown Man Football" against our Pop Warner League team and silently and professionally packed up their gear and the win. Then Tennessee said, "We'll spot you 21 points and still beat you by a touchdown"'and backed it up. Then Missouri called and said, "We'll play you without even bringing an offense to Athens" and almost spoiled our Homecoming.
Now the Gay-Tors are jacked up and can't wait to beat down our anemic little offense. They don't have to score a lot of points - heck, 2 might win this game.

If we keep it within 14 points by half then richt will consider that a victory in his underachieving book... 31-6 GayTors
