One of the realities of this board. Remember well what you posted above sflanagan21. Good on you.
I tried to go along with the choice also sf21, became apparent his mission was to use Nick Chubb to the fullest. Problem with that is the way that he went about realigning the offense, did less actually than Mike Bobo did. Bobo did like moving the other teams linebackers around . . . . tight ends, toss sweeps. It was a given that made our offensive line better than what is going on under Schottenheimer's play calling.
Truthfully, feel sorry for our offensive line, play calling is allowing the defenses to put "as many men in the box as they want".
Say this. Last season against Missouri, on their field, most of the same players, different quarterback, different game called. We had a quarterback that supposedly had a noodle for an arm, this year we have a quarterback with a bazooka.
Change assistants all the head coach wants, he is running this program his way, and it ain't the winning way.
UCF just released their head coach. The same head coach that beat our head coach in Memphis. George O'Leary. They allowed him to retire. Will take a couple of years but UCF will be back. Much like the gators, only difference, appears their coaching change moved the program forward immediately.
